Cole Albert Ralph Cole, 39, of N. 100 W., Kaysville, died Saturday, March 19, 1983 at his home of cancer. Mrs. Grace Barber Sartor, 65, of Farmington, died Thursday, March 17, 1983 at the Davis North Hospital of heart failure. Surviving are his wife, two HE WAS born Feb. 13, 1944 in Buffalo, New York, a son of David, Andrea, Melissa, Alison, and Sarah, all of Kays- Edwin Melvin and Evelyn Anna Kmetzcsh Cole. He married Susan Ann ville. ALSO surviving are his Wright on Sept. 25, 1969, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. HE HAD been a Davis County Planner for 13 years and was assistant director and three sons; Judy Gabourie, Roy; Steven Sartor, Kaysville; Allen Sartor, Brent Sartor, both of Layton; 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John. when he died. He spent his early years in Tooele. For the past 26 years he has lived in Kaysville. i' : HE WAS a graduate of Davis High School and also Weber State College, where he received a B.S. degree. He was an active member of the Kaysville 15th LDS Ward. He served an LDS mission to the East Central States. SHE LIVED in Davis County most of her life. She had worked as a waitress in Salt Lake City and Davis County. She sang with the Harmo-naire- s and Farmington 1st LDS Ward Choir. She sang and played the ukelele at many church functions. Relief Society. Surviving are her husband of Farmington, one daughter HE HAD been a member of GRACE BARBER SARTOR ALSO SURVIVING are one sister, Jeanne Kessler, Ogden, and one brother, John B. Barber of Apache Junction, Ariz. Funeral services were held Monday at noon in the Farmington Rock Chapel. Burial was in the Farmington City Cemetery. He was a Young Adult leader and a priesthood quorum leader. Surviving are his parents of Layton, two brothers and one sister, Scott D. McCall and Melanie K. McCall, both of Layton; Ronald W. McCall, stationed at Ft. Sill, Okla. with the U.S. Army. ALSO SURVIVING are his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Hess, Brigham; City and Mr. and Mrs. Forrest F. Whipple, Pima, Ariz. Russell R. McCall, 23, of 178 Dixie, Layton, died Wednesday, March 16, 1983 at the McKay-De- in Hospital e Ogden of injuries suffered in an airplane crash March 4 in Uin- tah County, Wyo. HE WAS born May 12, 1959 at the Loring Air Force Base, Limestone, Maine, a son of Rupert R. and Urayna Hess McCall. He was employed as an electronics technician at Security Control Systems in Ogden. W HILE HIS father served in the U.S. Air Force, the family lived two years in Limestone, Maine, Sacramento, Calif.; Biloxi, Miss.; Mesa, Ariz.; Okinawa, Japan; Little Rock, Ark., Tuscon, Ariz. and Kearns, Utah. They settled Layton in August of 1974. in He graduated from Layton High School and attended Weber State College. He was a Master Sergeant in the Civil City Cemetery. Sandall Dies At 88 Mrs. Lottie (Dot) W. Day Sandall, 88, of 66 Church, Layton, died Thursday, March 10, 1983 in a Layton hospital of heart failure. SHE WAS born June 23, 1894 in Layton, a daughter of James William and Elizabeth Young Day. On Nov. 22, 1917 she married Leonard C. Sandall. He died March 29, 1949. SHE WAS a lifelong resident RUSSELL R. McCALL pa- rents of Layton; one brother and two sisters, Edwin M. Cole, Jr., West Valley City; Mrs. Marvin L. (Elsie) Halli-daKaysville; and Mrs. Sterling B. (Evelina) Day, Salt Lake City. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth. y, MRS. SARTOR was born Aug. 6, 1917 in Bountiful, a daughter of Owen LeRoy and Hattie Bryson Barber. She married Frank Willard Sartor on April 2, 1938 in Kaysville. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple in 1963. of Layton. She was a member of the Layton 3 1 st LDS Ward. SHE HAD been employed at the Layton Post Office prior to her retirement. Surviving are one son and one daughter, David L. Sandall, Layton; Mrs. George M. (Nadine) Rogers, Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren four and ALSO SURVIVING are two sisters, Mrs. Joseph F. She married Horace Hazelett Dove on Sept. 20, 1932 in Red Lodge, Mont. He died Sept. 18, 1974. SHE LIVED in Lovell for several years and graduated from Lovell High School. SHE ATTENDED Kaysville Elementary School and West High School and graduated from East High School in Salt Lake City. She was married to William Alexander Wilkinson on March 31, 1920. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. IN 1941 they moved to Oak1955 they moved to Chula Vista, Calif, where she resided until her land, Calif, and in death. She was an ordinance temple worker in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and other temples for the church. SHE WAS a noted artist. Her husband preceded her in death in January 1983, two months ago. SURVIVING are two daughters, Wilma Laird and Donna Christensen, both of Chula Vista, Calif. Barbara Thomassen has been confined to the Davis in Layton since Feb. 19 suffering from North Hospital subdural hematoma and has undergone two major surgeries in that time. Mrs. Marilyn Bennett attended the funeral service of her aunt, Mrs. Dora McKay held in Ogden on Tuesday, March 15. Mrs. Joe Roberts visited Mrs. with her Lois Stephens, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Smith, of Kaysville and Mr. and Mrs. Ike Hodgson of . Layton, a few days last week. She had been in Las Vegas, Nev. and in Idaho visitsister-in-aw- s, ing relatives. She went to her home in DesMoines, Iowa after her visit here. Paul Dredge and five chil dren of Boston, Mass, came to Utah to visit a week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Dredge. Mrs. Debbie Amell and two children Nathan and Natalie of Mission Viejo, Calif, arrived Sunday to be with her parents Dr. and Mrs. George F. Snell and family for a weeks visit. Miss Joan Brough and her roommate Miss Leah Frost of Massachusetts were weekend guests of Joans parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben O. Brough and family. Both are students at Brigham Young University in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Henry went to the Hawaiian Islands where they vacationed for eight days spending time sightseeing on three islands. Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Ball recently returned from vaca- tioning in California. They visited in Los Angeles and also visited a cousin at San Grabiel. In San Jose they were guests of his brother June Ball and family for four days and spent a week in Sacramento with Mr. and Mrs. Newell Layton be fore returning home. Mrs. Merilee Warner of Denver, Colo, is spending five days with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Merritt Nielson and family. She came to see her sister Jill Nielson perform in a play Thursday evening put on by the South Davis County MIA Group, at the LDS Regional Center in Bountiful. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Jorgensen and family, Mrs. Ethel Webb of Kaysville; Mrs. Eva Chugg of Ogden and her family all attended the mission farewell of Mrs. Chuggs sister Harriet Stevens held in Bountiful Sunday. Following the meeting 66 family members gathered at Mrs. Stevens home for a family dinner in her honor. The Kaysville 4th Ward Relief Society will hold a special program on March 23 at the Relief Society Room at 7 p.m. with JoAnn Hamilton of Bountiful as the guest speaker. Mrs. Hamilton will address the subject of Coping with problems of today. Mr. and Mrs. Norris Nalder and family attended the funeral service of his brother-in-la- Stanley C. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Patton of Freemont, Calif, will arrive to visit with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs, Howard Sides. Judge and Mrs. Thomley K. Swan attended the American Sheep Producers meetings in Denver, Colo, for a few days last week. They returned home Thursday.
