Accord Holland interviewed for this edition, it can be a fun and exciting experience! Lotte Litjens is a 1 7 year old senior from Wijnandsrade, in southern Holland. She comes from a family of six. New students misses the most about her native country is the public transportation - being able to use buses and trains. In Holland, you cant get a drivers liscense until you are 8 years old, and so she is not allowed to get her drivers license here and has to 1 depend on others to give her rides. When asked what her favorite American food is, she is uncertain, but says that there is a lot more fast food here than in I lolland. She lived there in a small community that she guesses would be about half the size of Manti, but not so far ler away from other cities favorite color is blue and in her 1 spare time she enjoys going to see movies, shopping, and of course, sports. Jettie Kromkantp is an 8 year old foreign exchange student from Maarn, Holland 1 She lives there with her parents and sister Marleen. She is staying with the Sargent family in Manti She likes Manti beand reminds her cause of her hometown. I ler favorite thing about going to Manti it is small ligh School is that the people are nice and easy to get along with. Her favorite class of the I day is Spanish. Her plans for the future are to have an occupantion in tourism Jettie is a huge Grease fan. She likes everything that is blue. At first she said she didnt like American food, but she likes the food, just not the American diet. Its not healthy to eat a hamburger every day In her free time she likes to do things with her friends and go to the movies She likes to shop up in Provo at the mall They're from the same country, and they both ended up here in Manti, yet they have very different interests and plans and personalities Maybe, it just goes to show that it is a small world, alter all. Ginger is very ath- I leather Osmond moved to Ephraim from Fairvicw. Yes, she is related to the famous Osmond family. She has four brothers and one sister. Lucky for us she likes Manti High better than North letic and loves to snowboard. She was recently voted the loudest in the Senior class and is well known for her long, thick, curly hair. She enjoys Manti High School and says the students are very nice. One of her favorite things to do is go and eat lunch with her friends. Gingers favorite teacher is Mrs. Kjar, she has three classes from her. The thing Ginger misses the most about Fillmore is her much boyfriend, Lee. Ginger says, I wasn't excited to move, but now that I'm here I like it a lot. Manti High School, it's one of the best schools around. Sanpete. Heather loves to sing, dance and play violin; she is part of the Manti Tcmplarcttes. What she misses most about Fairv icw is her friends and her old house. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Canales, but her favorite class is word processing. Heather is a junior this year. She recently landed the lead role in the school play as Cinderella. Kcri always has a posativc attitude in class. She works hard and always looks nice. this honor. Ammon shows great improvement. He completes his work in class and has a much better attendance record. He has a good support- - may have noticed Robbie Hansen sweeping the halls. He's always so w illing to do that for our school. It sure helps make it look a little nicer, Mr. Miller commented about his 6th hour aide. I never have to ask Robbie to do too much. Hes to get things done. I le is very responsible. Ryan Sorenson, another of Mr. Millers aides, Ryan helps me out every' third hour. 1 1c is just always willing extremely dependable. Whenever I have a little job that needs to be taken care of he is alw ays willing to do it for me. Once he gets things done he always comes back asking if theres anything else he can do. commented Mr. Miller. He docs a really good job! |
