She was born May 21, 1909, in Spera Trento, Italy, a daughter ofGir. como and Maria Paterno. She married Battista Ropelato, Dec. 28,& 1929, in Spera, Italy. She had lived oa ee ee 1, 1993, at her home of cancer. She was born January 25, 1932, in Ogden, a daughter of Samuel Fredrick and Thelma Coy @ Sime: LDS Temple. in the Elks and Eagles Lodges. He was also a donor to the bloodbank and held membership in the Gallon Club. He was a boating enthusiast and was a Sea Scout for over 20 years. He enjoyed the sport andtelevision viewing of baseball. He had been married and divorced. He is survived by two sons and one daughter, A. Glenn Bowen, Mamouth Lakes, Calif.; H. Bruce Bowen, Carson City, Nevada; Marsha H. Bowen Rollins, Pasadena, Calif.; five grandchildren; two sisters and four brothers, WandaLipari, Vista, Calif.; Vern Bowen, Ogden, Utah; Don Bowen, Hoquiam, Washington; Wayne Bowen, Folsom, Calif.; Afton O'Connor, Hacienda Heights, Calif., Bob Bowen, San Diego, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents; a youngerbrother, Ted Bowen; one daughter, Sharon Sheldon. In his later years andin ill health, he was cared for by loving relatives. He elected his remains be donated to the University of Utah Medical School for the purpose of education and research. Private memorial services were held, and it was his desire to be cremated and his ashes scattered in the Wasatch Mountains in Utah. in Italy, Wyoming, and Taylor, Utah for the 3 past 56 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic F j Church and beBo longed to the St. Anne's Guild. Herinterests and hobbies included knitting, crocheting, quilting, ceramics, sewing, and Italian cooking. She was truly blessed with golden hands. She lovedlife, the farm, her family and friends. She will be missed. B. Millis BOUNTIFUL — Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lucille Marion Bower Millis, age 73, passed away June 1, 1993, in Bounti- ful, Utah. OGDEN — Mary Grace Warren, 2 died Tuesday, June 1, 1993 at Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City, of liver failure. She was born May 24, 1991 in Ogden, a daughter ——— of Sean and Jill Hansen-Warren. Surviving are her parents and one sister, Haddie Warren, ali of Ogden. He was born March 25, 1907 in Phoenix, B.C., Canada, a son of John Henry and Anna Carlson Sampson. He married § Mazie Louise Caldwell on June 12, 1935 in Salt Lake City. During his youth he had lived in Salt Lake City. He had lived in Ogden most of his life. He was a member of the LDS Church. Mr. Sampson had worked for the Union Pacific Railroad where he was a sheet metal workerandpipefitter, retiring after 38 years of service. Surviving are his wife of Ogden; one son and five daughters, E. Brent and wife NaDean Sampson, Riverdale; Mrs. Frank (Arlene) Atkinson, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Richard (Melba) Dickerson, Parma, Idaho; Mrs. John (Rita) Bleazard, Hutchinson, Kansas; Margaret Stirling, Ogden; Delores Lord, Salt Lake City; 20 grandchildren and 25 great-arandchildren.
