No gifts please. 4-- April Ceremony Tamara Randall and Patrick H. Shaw were married on April 23 in the Salt Lake LDS given by Fae Ford, Mrs. Ruth : Layton, Laurel Firth, and Dana Buxton. The bride attended Layton High and the LDS Seminary; attended Weber State College for two years. The groom graduated from Layton High and attended WSC for a year. He filled an LDS mission to Temple by Elder Joseph Whitesides. THE BRIDE is a daughter of A. Kent and Terry Randall of 800 Church Street, Layton. Parents of the bridegroom are Henry A. and Anita Shaw of 418 E. 1200 N., Layton. A wedding breakfast was held at 159 W. 1600 N. Stake Center hosted by the Randall and Shaw families. PRENUPTIAL parties were Philadelphia sion. THE COUPLE was married May 5, 1932 in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Wanner is re- tired from the railroad (PFE) with 22 years of service. Both belong to the S.P. Old Timers, the Ben Lomond Senior Citizens and the Golden Hour Center. Both are active members of the LDS Church. Fred is a high priest and has been a stake missionary and a home teacher. Leone has served in the Primary, Sunday School and is a visiting teacher. They have two sons, Robert Wanner of Great Falls, Mont., and Jerry Wanner of Clinton; 8 grandchildren and one Syracuse AFTER a honeymoon in Oregon at Newport Beach, they will make their home in Jackson Hole, Wyo. HEATHER ANN HADLEY APRIL MITCHELL for the past several years, The Iris Camp Daughters of Pioneers will meet at the home of Mrs. Jetta Walker on Monday, May 3 for their closing meeting of the season. Assisting hostess will be Mrs. Helen Barber. New officers for the coming year will be introduced. Jim Palmer left on Monday for his home in Brunswick, Ga. after coming here for the marriage of his sister, Karen Palmer, and Robert L. Young, which took place last Friday. He has been a guest at the home of his parents, Judge and Mrs. J. Duffy Palmer since his arrival. Ray A. Dahl returned to his West Point Home on Friday after spending two weeks in the Davis North Medical Center in Layton for treatment. Mis- KJews since leaving Syracuse. Little Taylee Jones observed her first birthday on April 8 w ith members of her family ahd close friends gathering for the event. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael M. Jones. Johnston, secretary. Those who have been the clubs officers this past year include Shirley Wilson, president; Lola Frew, vice president; and Laura Wilcox, secretary. The groom is the son of Mrs. Doris Young, Orem, Ut., and Robert Young of Anchorage, Alaska. THE BRIDE greeted guests in a chiffon gown under scored with satin. It featured a round neckline, full sheer sleeves caught at the wrist with a tight cuff, a fitted bodice and a slightly full skirt. The entire gown was trimmed with silk lace over the bodice and skirt and again down the back into a short train. The veil was also trimmed with the same delicate lace. She carried a bouquet of roses and stephanotis. Matron of honor was Mrs. Don (Jocelyn) Stoker, a sister of the bride. Her gown was of with a red crepe, slightly full skirt and rounded neckline. THE BRIDE is a graduate of Layton High and Utah State. An April bride was Karen LaRue Barkshurp, daughter of Clarence and Mable Barkshurp of Kaysville. TRUDY NIELSEN THE BRIDEGROOM is Randall Calvin Ogden, son of Julio and Margartt Ogden of Layton. The wedding was performed by Bishop Smith at the home of the couple. MATRON of honor was Linda J. Barkshurp. Best man was Marion C. Wilcox. Karen graduated from Davis High School and LDS Seminary and attended B YU. She is presently employed as a bank teller in Layton. RANDALL IS employed with the Davis School District. He graduated from Layton High and LDS Seminary and fulfilled an LDS mission to Belgium.
