Abshire Dies At Age Four Mrs. Erma Grace Nicholas, age 61, of 2039N.450W., Sunset, died Dec. 31 in the Salt Lake LDS Hospital of cancer. ALSO SURVIVING are his REMARKS a married Verdun Leslie Nicholas Oct . 5 , 1 938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She moved with her family from Declo, Ida., to Kaysville when she was younger. She attended the West Kaysville Elem. School and graduated from Davis High School. She worked at T.W. Grant Store in Ogden. ERE given by Steed; the Primary class sang I Am A Child of God, Acc: by Marvetta Saunders; benediction was by Neal L. Briggs. Brock Timothy Abshire, age Lynne Albiston Abshire of Dedication of the grave was given by Paul R. Taylor and Clinton, died Dec. 27 in the Davis North Medical Center of Acute Meningitis. He had lived in Roseville, Calif., Salt Lake City and Rafael Jaramillo Jr. age 52, 1376 Marilyn Dr., Layton, died Dec. 29, 1981 in the Davis North Medical Center. Honorary pallbearers were Steve McGavin, Dee Bloxham, Coy Swanger, Dewey Anderson, Dean Pierce, Robert Wixom, Ben Bloxham, Dirk Jones and Chad Jones. Flowers were cared for by the Sunset 7th Ward Relief Society. Interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery. HE WAS born Oct. 17, 1929 in Edith, Colo., a son of Rafael and Elvidia Duran Jaramillo, Sr. He married Edelia Lopez Oct. 20, 1951 in Bingham Canyon, Ut. He was a retired sergeant first class in the U.S. Marine Corps and a veteran of the Korean War. He received two Purple Hearts and the Gold Star for Valor. was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Surviving are his widow of Layton; son, Ralph Jaramillo, Layton; daughters, Mrs. William (Thelma) Naranjo, East Carbon, Ut.; Mrs. Frank (Brenda) Noriega, Price; Mrs. Daniel (Nadine) Guitierrez, Clearfield; six grandchildren. ALSO, PARENTS of Pagosa Springs, Colo., brothers, Mike Jaramillo, Chicago, 111.; Joaquin Jaramillo, Tooele, Fren HE WAS reared in Colorado and had lived in California and 25 years ago. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He had been a migrant recruiter for the Davis County School District and had been president of the migrant council for the state of Utah. He Wayne (Rebecca) Mobley, West Valley City; Mrs. Clarence (Dora) Widdison, Durango, Colo. Mass of the Resurrection was offered Jan. 2 in the Hill AFB Chapel with Chaplain Lt. Col. Patrick F. Feely officiating. Interment with military honors by a Marine Corp Honor Guard was in the Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Layton. The Reflex first started publishing a weekly paper in 1904 according to Noble Warrum in his History of Utah. Edith Mae Fisher Brenkmann, age 80, of 320 South Angel St., Layton, died Dec. 25, 1981 in the Davis North Medical Center. SHE WAS born June 16, 1901 in Galesburg, 111., a daughter of Fredrick J. and Lillian L. Palmer Fisher. She married Raymond C. Grenk-man- n on Aug. 4. 1938 in Davenport, Iowa. She was a charter member of the Clearfield Community Church. She had worked for Overall g the Factory, the Irving Tractor and Lug Factory and the Gregory Confectionary in Galesburg. She moved to Utah in Grose-Galsbur- 1945. SURVIVING are her hus- band of Layton; son. Raymond C. Brenkmann, Jr., Taylorsville; daughters, Mrs. Henry L. (Shenlyn Marie) Gnffitts, Layton; Mrs. Darrell J. (Carolyn Mae) Wright, Hoytsville, Ut.; Mrs. Eugene H. (Dorothy Eileen) Fogarty, Galesburg, 111.; eight grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Mabel Anderson, Lillian Pearson, Mary Fair, all of Galesburg. 111.; Sara Felske, Carthage, Mo. FUNERAL services were held Dec. 28 in the Myers Mortuary Chapel in Roy with the Rev. Harley D. Hunt of the Clearfield Community Church officiating. Interment in the Hoytsville City Cemetery. REMARKS WERE given by Bishop Budge, and speakers were Patriarch George S. Reid and Pres. Harvey Broadbent. A piano and organ medley was played by Nora B. Stephens and Christi Stephens, and a trio consisting of Nada Nicho- - attended WSC. He married Diane Stanley in Layton, Ut., and was later divorced. He married Pamela Sukut. in Circle, Montana, in ALSO surviving are his appraiser and cost analyst. He was a member of the IAAO. Funeral services were held Jan. 5 in the Sunset 7th Ward Chapel with Bishop Donald Budge officiating. Brent Nicholas and Randy B. Nicholas, both of Ogden; daughter, Mrs. Sandra N. Vallejo, Paulsho, Wash., and seven grandchildren. SURVIVING are his widow of Layton; sons, Stephen A VanDyke of Kaysville, and Wendell Don Hansen of West Jordan; eight grandchildren and a brother, Wendell Hansen, Ogden. Funeral services were held Jan. 5 at the Larkin and Sons Mortuary in Ogden with Bishop Oren L. Kimber officiating. HE W AS a member of the LDS Church and had been active in the Layton 2nd Ward. Surviving are his wife of Cascade, Mont., two sons and one daughter; Joshua Green. Cascade. Mont., Cory Green and Shanna Green, Clinton, Ut. SHE HAD been a member of the Ladies Fleet Reserve Tax Commission Layton. sisters and three brothers, Rosetta Swanger and Sam Douglas L. Green, age 30, and formerly of Layton, died Dec. 25, 1981, in Circle, Montana. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Circle Montana Hospital, where he was taken following a snowmobile accident. HE SERVED in the U.S. Air Force for four years during the V letnam War. Then was a civil service employee for the following ten years, as an electronic technician. He was employed at Hill AFB until 1980 when he was transfered to Malstrom AFB in Great Falls, Mont., where he recently received special commendation for his work and that of his staff. SHE HAD lived in Kaysville, Clearfield, Rhode Island and Tacoma, Wash., prior to moving to Sunset. She had been an active member of the Kaysville 1st Ward for many years and was presently a memberof the Sunset 7th Ward. She had been a counselor and president of the Primary and was active in Relief Society. She had been a Primary teacher for over 30 years. Ogden before moving to appraising. He married Beth Garner Mar. 11, 1946 in Seattle, Wash. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He attended WSC and received instructions from the U. of U.
