LAYTON - King, 549 South Angel Street, Kaysville, has been called to serve an 18 month LDS mission to the South Carolina Columbia Mission. She will enter the Mission Training Center in Provo on Nov. 1. She spoke in the Kaysville meeting on Sunday Oct. 21. SHE WAS bom in Idaho and reared in Kaysville. She graduated from Davis High School and was married to Wallace F. King in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Sept. 10, 1932. He died in 1969. Mrs. King has served in the Relief Society presidency, as a primary president, Junior Sunday School coordinator and various other positions in the LDS Church. SHE WAS employed with the school lunch program for ten years, employed at Kings Drive Inn in Kaysville, Buchanans Fabrics in Layton and the Davis Farm Station in Kaysville. She is the mother of five Lowell Mrs. children, (Marie) Taylor, Kenzie W. King, Mrs. Robert (Lisa) Webster, Richard W. King all of Clearfield School and the High Seminary, she was a member of the Seminary council and a member of the Madres and Concert Choir at the school. For the past three years she has been attending Weber State College. She has served as vice president of the Institute and several other committees and was a member of Womens Chorus. active member of the Syracuse MISS PALMER is an Co-o- p on various committees and in Gayle A. THE COMMUNITY Action Program has funds available the federal government has made money available to help senior citizens pay utility bills. As of now, none of this money is available but there might be at a later date.
