While in Kaysville, Mr. and Mrs. Walker took Mrs. Corder and daughter to Logan to visit with Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Rowberry and family and they all also visited in Salt Lake City with Dr. and Mrs. L. R. Walker and family. Dr. and Mrs. John Costley have returned from a week vacationing at Jackson Hole, Wyo. and Yellowstone National Park. Houseguests of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Rigby is her sister and brother-in-laMr. and Mrs. Marvin Moultre of Vancouver, British Columbia. They are also visiting with many other relatives in the weekend at Lake Powell. Mr. and Mrs. Jay M. Adams visited a week in Sierra Vista, Ariz. with her sister, Mrs. Roselia Shackleford. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Dotson and family of Kaysville; her brother, Mr. and Mrs. David Morley of Uintah and her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Gonzales of Sandy met in Provo on Sunday to be with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Everett of Fountain Green to celebrate their mothers birthday anniversary with a dinner there. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Swasey and family recently vacationed in Astoria, Ore. with friends for one week. Mrs. Helen Barnes spent a few days last week in Taylorsville MR AND MRS. WILLIAM H. KING Celebrate 50th Mr. and Mrs. William H. King of Kaysville will be honored on their 50th wedding anniversary with a buffet Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Oakridge Country Club in Farmington. BRIDE is the daughter of Mrs. William S. Manes, 2601 West Gentile and the late William Manes. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Ellis Glidden of Ware, Mass. THE Dinner followed the c ceremony at the Travel Lodge in the Prospector Room. They received guests at a reception in the Goldfield c Room of the Travel Tri-Ar- Tri-Ar- Lodge. THE BRIDES over chiffon gown of satin was designed with a fitted bodice featuring a square neckline edged in Chantilly lace. The sleeves were sheer and accented with lace appliques. Mr. and Mrs. King were married on October 9, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and have two children: Attorney Felshaw King who is married to the former Mary DeBry and Mrs. Patricia King Barber who is married to Terry Barber both of Kaysville. They have four living grandchildren and one deceased granddaughter. MRS. GOLDA Jane Burton King was bom the daughter of Charles T. Burton and Emily Brough Flint Burton and was one of five children. Mrs. King has two living sisters: Mrs. Martha Richards of Clovis, Calif, and Mrs. Isabel Carlisle of Orem, and two deceased brothers. Mrs. King was born and raised in Kaysville, Utah and attended Davis County Schools and the LDS Business College of Salt Lake City. She has served as president of the elementary school PTA for two years, vice president for one year, president of the Central Jr. High School PTA h train. Matrons of honor were Mrs. Tom Kolendrianos and Mrs. Dan Vincent. Miss Rea Bringhurst was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Angie Kolendrianos, Miss Jeannie Kolendrianos, Miss Kathy Diamant, and Mrs. Rob Benson. Flower girls were Pat Kolendrianos, Marcie Manes and Carie Smith. SERVING AS best men were Andy Bolos and David Smith. Ushers were Kirk Michael Thomas, Kolendrianos, John Smith, Jerry Koehler, Guy Reed and William Glidden. Ring bearer was Matthew Manes and crown bearer was Robbie Smith. King was bom the son of Harvey King and Kathryn Felshaw McBride King in Fillmore, which was the first territorial capital of the State of Utah. Mr. King has one living sister, namely," Salome King Barnes of Kaysville. Mr. King moved with his family to Kaysville, in the fall of 1907 where his parents bought the Knighton Com-- . pany Ranch in East Kaysville. MR. KING attended Kaysville elementary schools, Ogden High School for one year and West High School in Salt Lake City for three years. Attending the University of l, Mr. King Utah, graduated with an LLB and LLD in 1934. He then practiced law in Salt Lake City Pre-Lega- for the Corps of Engineers. In 1943 Mr. King was chosen to fill an unexpired term of two ma Phi met Sept. 11 at the home of Joyce Thompson. THE PROGRAM The Lace of the Earth was given by Joyce Thompson and Bonnie Dagsen, with members and guests telling of the countries they would like to visit. Graves Enjoy Trip For Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Mann returned 1 from recently Canada where they went to attend the wedding reception of their granddaughter, Miss Paula Mann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mann of Calif. The wedding was at the Oakland LDS Temple in Calif, and the reception held at Raymond Alberta, Canada. She was married to Davis Williams and they will make their home in Canada where he will continue his studies at Edmonton. En route Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Mann visited with some of their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hayes at Gleisher, Canada and with Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Hayes at Arrowood, Canada.
