Not present for picture, Charles Schumaker, Neal Smith and Todd Marcusen. Possibly the only time in the history of Kaysville that ten LDS boys have been sustained to be ordained Elders in the Melchizedek Priesthood the same day, in the same ward. Company in Sait Lake City. Blair Barton is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Barton of 720 East Center Street, Kaysville. Blair was active in the scouting program where ADDITION all boys received their Duty to God awards. The Duty to God awards were presented to the boys 13 in their during Sacrament meeting and later they werr sustained as Elders in thei. Priesthood Quorum. The Duty to God award is the highest honor that can be earnea by an LDS boy. It takes four years of outstanding service to their church to earn the right to apply for this award. THEY MUST be in attendance 75 per cent of the time for the four consecutive years. Be a registered Boy America for two years, active in their church functions and activities and living the principles of the church. Scout of Mark B. Buhler is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell W. Buhler of 66 South 500 East, Kaysville. Mark is recipient of his Eagle Scout award, served in the presidency of the Deacons and Priests Quorums. HE ATTENDED Burton Elementary School, Kaysville Junior High and graduated from Davis High School in 1976. He played basketball and softball for the Venturers and Explorers. all sports He enjoys especially hunting, fishing, g motorcycling and and has a talent in he earned his Eagle Scout HE GRADUATED from Davis High School where he participated in track and also was a member of the Davis High School band. He enjoys woodwork and is a snow skier as well as a water skier. He enjoys all sports. Excellent mechanic, talent builders trade and baking trade. He is active in the Deacons and Teachers in Quorums. RODNEY Linford, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Linford of 78 No. 750 East, Kaysville was one of 10 young men honored as he was presented the Duty to God award on March 13. This award resulted from his activity and service in the Aaronic Priesthood Quorums and in the scouting programs. He has served as first and second counselor in the Aaronic Priesthood Quorums, and has served in other capacities. Through his interests and activity in scouting, he attained the rank of Eagle scout. RODNEY graduated from Davis High School as a member of the 76 class with interests in academics, music and athletics. During his four years at Davis, he was a member of the marching and bands which symphonic earned many high honors in various competitions. in He participated wrestling, track and football. He as a member of the varsity football squad during his junior and senior years playing the position of offensive lineman. Rodney is currently attending the University of Utah majoring in business administration. snow-mobilin- woodwork. at HE IS presently employed the Rocky Bank Note PAUL A. Morley, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph N. Morley, 571 East Center St., Kaysville. Paul earned this honor by in Quorum meetings. Sacrament meetings, Sunday School and youth activity night. By filling HE WAS a member of the Davis High School Symphonic Band and accompanied them on all their tours. He was also a member of the the Teachers Quorum. HE HAS participated in the Ward basketball and is outstanding in football, baseball and other sports. He enjoys woodshop. He is presently employed with Redman Moving Van Co. 12 oz. Pot Roast Rath Franks $ C Madrigals Group while at GRCfCERiY, Jefferson Production. He plays tennis and enjoys skiing. He is employed with Bowmans Market. NEAL WAS on a Weber Institute Choir tour to Nevada, Oregon and California when the photo was taken. Todd Marcusen son of Mr. and Mrs. Lex Marcusen of 75 South 760 East, Kasyville, has earned his Eagle scout award. He graduated from Davis High and was a four year LDS Seminary. CHARLES served on the Davis Dart newspaper staff, yearbook staff, was a member of the student council, debate team and talented in photography. While in West Germany he worked with the Drug Awareness Group. He has served numerous positions in the church, having served as Deacon Quorum president, counselor in the Teachers Quorum and a home Seminary graduate. HE HAS served as second in the Priests presidency and secretary to the Priests assistant Quorum teacher. Quorum. He is an excellent basketball player. He is presently attending Weber State College. He is employed in Kaysat Harrys ville. Todd was in Hyrum and unable to be present for the HE IS currently attending Brigham Young University at Provo. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schumaker of 110 North Country Place, Fruit Heights. He was at BYU and unable to be present for the photo. photo. BISHOP Rodney Felt is pleased and proud of the accomplishments of these fine young men. np David Stanley Milman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence A. Milman of 46 South 500 East. active in his church assignments having served as secretary of the Deacon Quorum and also is first counselor. He is a graduate of Davis High School and a four year graduate from LDS Kaysville Seminary. He is a first class scout and is presently employed for Am Pad Co. in North Salt Lake. DAVID HAS been 25 LB. Gold Medal Dean Harris FOouur Receives 10 Year Pin $3)99 Dean Harris of Layton has received a ten-yeservice pin at Hill Air Force Base ceremonies. HE IS AN Steven Morton is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Waynard Morton of 123 South 700 East, Kaysville. He is in his senior year at Davis High School and active in the LDS Seminary program. He has been active in his church functions and aircraft elec- trician at the base. Mr. Harris and his wife Carol have two children. Linda White: PRODUCE Pleasant Person Honor STEVENS hobbies include hunting, music and all sports. Kelly Nielson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Merritt Nielson of 139 South 706 East, Kaysville. He is recipient of his Eagle Scout award. Linda HE GRADUATED from Davis High School and is attending Weber State College where he is majoring in working at Hill in recognition pleasant and helpful attitude as well as performance beyond that which is customarily expected. Neal Smith of 47 North 500 East, Kaysville is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Neal Smith. He has been active in his church activities and functions having served as first assistant to the bishop, president of the Teachers Quorum, second counselor of engender an attitude of awareness on the part of Hill personnel of the importance of their daily efforts in accomplishing the Air Force mission in a polite, cheerful and efficient manner.
