Glen COMMISSIONER Flint said the county had been unaware of the legal implications of this arrangement until recently when an unsigned letter was received by the commission protesting the preferential treatment. Commissioner C.E. Moss said the letter had protested that South Davis Ambulance was run as a county ambulance, while it is not. He said the letter had charged that the ambulance was housed in the county, used county plates, required no accounting or audit, and did not pay income taxes. ACCORDING to Commissioners Moss and Flint, the letter had prompted them to meet with County Fire Chief Russell Earl, who agreed that the county would be reim- Commissioner Moss said a search through County Com- DR.
