NE Funeral services were held July 20 for Percy LeRoy Brown, 84, who died July 16, 1998, at his home. He was born Aug. 21, 1913, in Mt. Pleasant to Thomas and LeRoy Clara (Spens) Brown. He married Mary Louise Fitz on Nov. 4, 1942, in Smith Center, KS. She died in 1965. He farmed in Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska. He was also a hard rock miner in Colorado.
