He attended Southern Utah State College and is currently working towards his masters in business finance at BYU. Along with the addition ot a junior queen contest there are other new events planned. The competition for the queen and junior queen contests was opened to Hub City Western Days Heritage Rodeo Royalty will reign over all western events at the July 1 4th celebration. Western events will kick off on July 3rd with Open Horse Play. The evening event which takes the place of the Little Buckaroo Rodeo that in the past has been on the 4th, is open to youngsters through 19 years of age. ' Then op July 5th there will be a horse parade with a special appearance by the Silver Spurs of Salt Lake. The Silver Spurs will also perform that evening at the rodeo. There will be two Rocky Mountain Rodeo Assoc sanctioned rodeos, one each on the evenings of July 4 and 5. The first Western Round-uwill be the big addition to the western events.
