Show May Fairview couple circle date for Family Living Foods, Weddings, Anniversaries FAIRVIEW The family of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Erickson will honor them at an open house, in honor of their golden anniversary Saturday, May 12 from 2 until 4 p.m. in the Fairview Third Ward Cultural Hall. Family and friends of the couple are cordially invited Mothers, daughters banquet set Saturday attend. The Ericksons are active in the LDS Church and both have been temple workers. He has served as Sunday School Superintendent while she has served as a counselor in the Relief Society under three presidents and in the primary and Junior Sunday School. She has also served as Captain of the North Bend Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Mr. Erickson is a retired railroad worker. The couple have four children, Mrs. Harvey (Lorraine) Christensen, Salt Lake City; Gerald Erickson, Dutch John, Mrs. Neil (Carol) Adams of Orem and Odell Erickson of Springville. The couple has 14 grandchildren. MORONI The annual Mothers and Daughters Banquet will be held on Saturday, May 12. Dinner will begin at the Ftn. Her daughter in law, Mrs. Vince (Pat) Miner represented Utah in the nation-wid- e contest. old Orem Mrs. Miner, a resident, earned the right to represent the state by scoring more points than 185 other contestants in the state contest held earlier this year. Mrs. Miner is a businesswoman and a mother of two girls. She is cheerleader coach at Utah Technical College and owns a modeling school. Her husband is basketball coach at UTech. SALT LAKE CITY Mr. and Mrs. Dee Rees Christensen of Salt Lake City announce the marriage of their daughter, Laurie Ann, to Bud Badgett. The bridegroom is the son of Bud and Marjorie Badgett of Salt Lake City. The couple were married Saturday, April 14, and were honored that evening at a reception at The Chateau, West Valley City, hosted by the parents of the bride. The couple are honeymooning in Southern Utah and Las Vegas. They will make their home in Salt Lake City. Laurie is the of Grant and Ruth grand-daught- Draper Mr. and Mrs. Bud Badgett of Moroni. EPHRAIM Snow Colleges dance group, OR- CHESIS, will present what has come to be one of the highlights of the school year, their Spring Concert, on May 17 and 18 in the college auditorium at 8 p.m. According to Toni Pickall Bench, Company Director, some students from the Ephraim Elementary School will participate with the college dancers this year. This years concert, called Whipped Cream - Heavy - Light offers choreography by Ms. Bench and a piece by Movement Specialist, Deborah S. Stone, k who has just completed a a Snow under at residency grant for the Endowment of the A Arts. guest piece by two-wee- choreographer, Randal Hobbs and Amber Bumgardner will perform with the dance group, Orchesis, in their Spring Concert set May 17 and 18 in the Snow College Auditorium. Ann Mary Christison, who has studied Graham Technique with Gertrude Shurr and Marian Anderson, will be featured, as will some student pieces. Ms. Christison is the Director of the English Training Center at Snow. The first half of the program Heavy includes more traditional music and use and interpretation of energy, space and motion, commented Ms. Bench. The little girl was born April 11 at Babyland General Hospital in Cleveland, GA. and was adopted from an orphanage in Seattle April 21. The doll which had been ordered in October 1983 by Mrs. Christensens son, Paul, as a Christmas present for his mother, came with designer jeans and a dress. The orphanage had some reservations about the adoption since Mrs. Christensen is a working mother, but arrangements for child care have been made with the Moroni Turkey Processing Plant.
