He was born March 8, 1893, in Fairivew to James Anderson Jr. and Ada Adelia Sanderson. He married Selma Jensen December 22, 1915. She died in 1968. They are the parents of thirteen children, eight of whom are living: Allen and Ernel, Orem; Sherrill, Gary and Ada, Fairview; Lowell, SPRING CIT- Y- Mary Dyches who has served as president of the Parent-Teacher- s Association for the past two years and was instrumental in organizing the PTA program after a pause has been given a vote of thanks by the elementary school staff. In recognizing Mrs. Dyches accomplishments the staff pointed out that while the PTA was under her direction the organization conducted the first district health fair and raised money for the purchase of two new computers, basketball standards and blacktop for the school. Mr. Anderson has been engaged in a family sheep operation until recent years, and as a member of the church has participated actively in missionary, geneology and temple work.
