This week a new bride, Peggy Porter, shares some outstanding recipes Noted author and MORONI lecturer, Lois Jorgensen, will be the guest speaker at the North Sanpete Chapter of Utah Homemakers meeting, 7:30 p.m., June 1 at the North Sanpete Middle School, according to Diane Peterson, chapter president. Mrs. Jorgensens presentation is titled Hilarity in Homemaking. She has been titled Utahs Erma Bombeck and has traveled through out the state giving talks and reading original compositions. As the mother of thirteen children, Mrs. Jorgensen has developed homemaking skills and is known for her delicious pies, handmade articles of clothing, and her natural sense of humor. The public is invited to attend, Mrs. Peterson said and added that Homemakers have also scheduled a trip to the Pageant of the Arts in American Fork on June 29. Anyone interested in attending should contact her. with our new event for Hub City Days in Mt. Pleasant will be a quilt show. Prepare oz. brownie mix as directed on package and bake in 8 inch round greased cake pan. Cool ten minutes and remove from pan and cool thoroughly. Place cooled round brownie on cookie sheet. Unmold ice cream onto brownie. Beat 3 egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually fold in 7 oz. jar marshmallow creme.
