He then married Edna Fowler Peery on Sept. 5, 1956,in Cedar Breaks. Mr. Matheson had lived in Goshen for many years. He served an LDS mission to Canada. Survivors include his widow of ; four sons and two daughters, Bruce Matheson, Parowan; Clyde Matheson, Sun Valley, Ida.; Jack Matheson, Cedar City; Mrs. A. M. He belonged to Phi Delta Theta fraternity, to the Masonic Order and to the Los Angeles Bar Association. Ex-Resident Of Payson Dies in Idaho POCATELLO,Ida. — Funeral services for May Baxter Jex Kapple, 86, Pocatello, who died Tuesdayin a Pocatello hospital after a long illness, were held Fridayin Pocatello. Burial was in Mountainview Cemetery. Mrs. Kapple wasa residentof Payson for 10 years, 1953 to 1963. She was born Aug. 25, 1884, in Lawrence, Kans, a daughter of Sylvester and Hilvla Baxter. She married William A. Jex in Idaho Falls, Ida.; he died in 1948. She married Albert Kapple in 1953 and he died in 1963, She was a member of the LDS Church.
