Born June 24, 1918 to Albert John and Sarah Helen Young Milczarek in Salt Lake City, UT. She married Rich- Mildred Eva ‘Hollberg, 93, passed away October 7, 2083 from liver cancer. Mildred was born June 28, 1910 to Thomas Oscar and Eva ae (Holly rom tired employee of the Paul “M” Johansen, 62, passed away from a maniveheart attack surrounded by his lov family on Tuesday, October re 5008. 4 Paul was born October 9, 1940 in Standardville, UT to Mox D and Olene Litster Johansen. On October 21, 1965, he married Diana Snow, in Price UT, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Paul ft many lives thr his volunteer service at Twin Peaks Kindergarten. He served in many church callings including 9 bishopric and stake clerk, executive secretary, Primary teacher, and a faithful home teacher. He will be fone remembered for his iioerty, ectious humor and love for life. His pee Bs was being married to wife best friend, Diana. He showed tremendous love, patience, and devotion to his rm. ee ‘aul was loyed as a computer corporais for jarvarious tions including from he systems analyst recently retired. He is survived by his devoted wife, Diana; son Scott Paul; daughter, Jill J. Zina Virginia Poole Davis Hill "Jinny" Our sweet, ange angel wife, mother, and grand r, 8 » passed awaypeaceful on Sunday, October 5, 2003, at her home, surrounded by her family. Over the past year, due to cancer, she had been lovingly cared for by her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends. Even in sickness, she noticed others’ needs and put them first. Virginia was born on March 25, 1921, in Ontario, Oregon, to Lewis William Poole and Zina Hansen. A 1937 graduate of East High School, she then the University of Utah. On April 16, 1941, Virginia married Harold Calvert Davis in the Salt Loke Temple. Ti r, they raised eight idren. Horold preceded her in death in 1983. She mar- Utah, having worked as a librarian’s assistant after her husband’s death. A devoted knitter, she made many a sweater or afghan for her family and friends. She kept African violets and ores the large rose garden that her husband had pianted for her at their home in Salt Lake City. Her English toffee and peanut brittle were never equaled. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Underwood Eldredge iil, and sister, Marjorie Sorensen. Survivors i two d ers, Susan Jester of Gainesville and Eckhout of Sandy, Utah; a sister, Florence Baldwin of Corinth, Mississippi; a brother, Paul Jor of Bountiful, Utah; four andchildren, Joseph, Jeff, Dan and Byron; and two greatgrandchildren, Joby and Shelby. Min loved to play golf and would get her friends Gin and Jean and others out early on Saturday mornings and after work for a nine. and her sister Betty loved to sit out in their immaculate yard, either reading or entertaining family and friends. We all loved to to Mildred and Betty's house fo visif - they spoiled all of us! Min loved to r and would read one- two books a week, even doing so up to a month before her death. Her mind was as sharp as a tack until the end. She remembered everyone and everything. Aunt Min was the love of her family. She will be greatly missed by her nephews and nieces, Ronald J. Hollberg. Jr. (Debbie), Robert M. Hollberg, Thomas K. Hollberg, Michael L. Hanson, Judith A. Hoilberg, and Lois R. Hermanson. Ora Maurine Clark Murdoch PRICE- Isabell White Jensen, age 87, passed away October 8, 2003 in Salt Loke City. She was born December 10, 1915 in Cleveland to Emory and Lucille Cowley White. Married Dean Jensen, Feb. 3, 1936 in Cleveland; marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died January 10, 1971. Member of LDS Church and the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Isabell lived her life to fullest, always giving of herself. Isabell loved bei a mom and grandma. She was an avi reader and everyone loved her beautiful hand crocheted lace. . Ruth MayKeller 1925 ~ 2003 Clark Parley Russell passed away -_" peacefully October 2, He was born March 11, 1917 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Jacob Parley Russell and Daisy Dell Clark. He graduated from East High School, attended the University of Utah. and was an Eagle Scout and Sea Scout. He married Lettie Ballard Squires in the Logan Temple on October 20, 1938; she died March 5, 1990. He married Erminie Dixon, February 14, 000; they were later divorced. He was drafted into the US Navy and reported for duty on his birthday in 1945, the same day his second son was born. Clark was technically and creatively gifted. He helped —and engineer the spires of the Oakland S Temple while he was employed in the Church's architectural department. A nomination to receive an honorary Master M-Man award leased him enormously. His talents ‘ound use when he was co member of the LDS Church's Mutual General Board in the 50 s and 60s. Prior to that service he was one of the Seven Presidents of Stake Seventy. He loved teaching the Gospel Doctrine Sunday School class, producing original and fore handouts and learning aids. l€ wrote poetic tributes to family and friends on the occasion of their reaching milestones in their lives. His ge generosity touched many. hile working as o drafting engineer for Hercules, he joined Toastmasters International. His skills blossomed and drew him into leadership, service and recognition culminating when he received the national service award. Clark was preceded in death by his parents and siblings and their spouses as well as Leftie’s siblings and spouses. He was the last of that generation in the two families. Sophia Malias age 91, died of a lingering iliness due to old age. hia was born in Crete. Greece on August 17, 1912 to John and Katherine Cordakis. Sophia married Angelo Mallas on ril 21, 1936. They had two children, Cosmas and Georgia. ia came to Americo in 1947 with her daughter, about 11 months after her husband and son mirated to Utah. it should be noted it Angelo had come to America in 1912 and had joined the U.S. Army during World War |, and became a U.S. Citizen. After returning to Crete and marrying Sophia, Worid War Ii broke out, and y were unable to come to the U.S. until after the war. Sophia had an active life until she was about 85 years old, working in her yard, cooking, cleaning, and even volunteering her time at the Greek Festival. Sophia’s husband died Jan. 14, 1970 and her daughter Georgia preceded her in death in 1982. Sophia is survived by her son, Cosmas and daughter-in-law Christie, 11 grandchildren’s friends as “their randma with the red beetle bug. rbarc had a special gift when if came to animals. She wos the 10th child of Luigi and Vittoria Corradi Bacigalupi. married Amedeo Pardini in Jonvory 1949 in Sarzano and moved to Americo where her two sons were born. in 1955 she returned to Italy to raise her chiidren. lolanda was a strong and brave woman who was forced to foce a lifetime of trial. As a young woman living in Haly she survived World War ll bombings and invasions, often hiding with her nieces in the hills surrounding Sorzona. Her husband passed away in 1957. Several years iater she brought her sons back fo Americo and settled in Ogden, Utah, where she roised them a , determined to provide them with ali available opportu- nities. Everyone who knew lolando knew she wos a wonderful cook.
