Margaret is the daughter of Ed and Ann Rogers, the family recently moved to St. George. They will be married on Nov. 17 in the St. George LDS Temple with a reception following in the Cameo Room in St. George. An open house will honor the couple on Nov. 21 in the Sunset Stake Center. Mr. Walter is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Walter of St. George. Donald H. Newey, 50, of Ogden who died on Nov. 3 was the father of Mrs. Leonard (Janie) Wadman. Born and educated in Ogden he had been a maintenance supervisor for the National Distribution Center. He was a Korean War veteran. He was a member of the Presidents Honor Guard and was a guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. He vt is survived by his widow the former Mary Jane Myers who he married in 1949; two MM I sons Donald Newey, Layton; Robert W. Preston, 70, of Brigham City who died on Nov. 5 in the Brigham City hospital was the stepfather of T. Mark Reynolds. Born in Missouri he had been an electrician and in construction work retiring in 1970. He had served in the U.S. Army during World War II. His wife the former Rilla A. Shafer whom he married in 1946 died, he later married Beth Reynolds she and three stepsons, stepdaughter one survive. Funeral services on Thursday in Brigham City. Interment in the Brigham City Cemetery. Sympathy is expressed to the Keith Jeffery family. Mr. Jefferys mother died on Friday after an illness of several months. His father Ervin Jeffery was killed recently returning to the family home in Delta after a visit to his wife in the hospital. The Mike Brownins of Salt Lake City visited here on Sunday with Mikes parents Kaye and Joyce Browning. Mark and Kim LeFevre have a baby boy, their first child born on Friday. Sand Ridge Camp of DUP will hold the November meeting early this month on account of Thanksgiving. It will be held at the home of Lucy Smith on Friday. Phil and Lillian Hansen, their four sons and their families had a dinner last Monday evening at the Sizzler in North Ogden to celebrate a number of birthdays that have come along recently. Present were Jim and Mary Hansen and their newly adopted son of two months Jerome of West Point, Norman and Carlene Hansen and children Jason, Holly and Jennifer of Layton, Larry and Debbie Hansen and their family and Kellie of Farr West and Allan and Vicki Hansen and of Stephanie daughter Layton. Mrs. Mae Hansen, Mr. Hansens mother of Ogden, Ethel and Earl Jones of Salt Lake City, a sister of Mrs. Hansen and their daughter and husband Bob and Jillyn also of Salt Lake.
