Does he try to give his younger players more playing time or does he rely on his seniors? After the game, I spent an hour and a half talking to the seniors, Jackson said. Thanks to the moratorium from Dec. 23 to Dec. 29 on all practices and games, high school basketball players and coaches were able to take time off from picks, screens, zone offenses, man defenses and scouting reports and concentrate on food, gifts and more food. But some area teams still managed to play a full schedule last week before the moratorium took effect. . . CLEARFIELD If you saw Clearfields two games last week, you might have had a difficult time believing that the same team played both games. The two performances even had Clearfield Coach Craig Hansen wondering. In the 5 loss to Ogden last Tuesday, Hansen said the Falcons were outrebounded and 60-5- our shooting percentage was not good. It was combinatiion of those two things. But that quickly changed the following night against Davis at Farmington Junior High. Clearfield played its best basketball game of the season, leading Davis the entire game and winning, 79-6- 5. Its funny what one night can do, Hansen said.
