Another couple and man have returned. All will speak in their home wards this coming Sunday. Elder Brett R. Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard J. Thomas of Layton, has accepted a call to serve in the CalgaryCanada Mission. He will speak Sept. 18 at 2:3 J p.m. at the Layton 28th Waid Chapel, 2500 N. Church Street. 1 the ConnecticutHartford Mission. The couple were at the Joseph Smith Memorial Visitor Center in Vermont. Elder and Sister Blair will speak Sept. 18 at 8:30 a.m. at the Clearfield Fourth Ward Chapel, 838 E. 600 South. our rapidly changing society, and the change in attitude of our established mores. He will further give thought to Stress Management, and how we can best handle the frustrations that cause concern in business, community, and family associations. Waggoner, 133 Locust St., Clearfield, have been called to serve in the Washington D.C. LDS Temple Visitor Center. They will speak Sunday, Sept. 18 at p.m. at the Clearfield Fifth Ward Chapel, 326 E. Center Street. An open house will be held at the Waggoners house after the meeting for all friends and relatives. Dewain and Leone Blair, Clearfield, have returned home from their 18 month mission to Ber-thol- d. Jackson, son of Roy W. and Allis Jackson, Layton, has accepted a call to Washing-tonSpokain the serve Mission. He will speak at the Layton 23rd Ward Chapel, 60 W. Gordon Ave., Sept. 18, at 10:50 a.m. Elder Jackson is a graduate of Layton High School and LDS Seminary. An open house has been planned in his honor fof Sunday, Oct. 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at his home, 245 E. 1150. Elder Brian Bryant, son of Tony And Cathy Jensen, 840 Elm St., Layton, has been called to serve in the JapanOkyama Mission. He departed for the MTC on For seven years he was a child protection social worker at the Utah State Division of Family Services. He has also served as a family therapist at the Youth Service Center, Salt Lake City. He was the coordinator of child protection Team at the University of Utah Medical Center, and the Primary Childrens Medical Center from 1979 to 1981. Berthold is presently director of social services at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, as well as instructor at Utah State Police Training Standards (Police Academy), and an instructor at Weber State College. Robinson has been a spokesman on land issues, chaired a citizens planning committee, a participant in numerous charitable and civic organizations, Bob three-memb- er chamber of commerce, and PTSA with a lifetime devotion to sports competition as an ath lete, coach and supporter. A 1981 candidate for city council, Robinson emphasized land use and RDA directions as high priority issues.
