Childhood stress, child abuse, and divorce are some of the problems associated with stress. In an effort to help Utah families manage stress better, Utah State University Extension Sertelevice will sponsor a vision series focusing on the topic of Families in Stress. television series will The address some of the more crucial aspects of stress within the context of the family. Each of the programs will be aired over KUED Channel 7. Judy Starkey reports that a person can get university credit by watching the programs and completing a set of assignments that are available from the State Extension Office. Each of the programs are very family oriented with some helpful suggestions on how parents can better manage stress in their lives and the lives of their children. Barbara Busby, assistant director for the fair, said the state fair premium books will be off the press August 9. The book is available to all Utahns who want to enter a competitive exhibit in the fair; it lists entry rules for all categories and tells about prizes and other details.
