Sowell July 8 in wedding ceremonies performed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Announcing the marriage are parents of the bride, T. Larry and Lula OBrien of 175 E. 300 S., Centerville. A wedding breakfast was hosted by the parents of the bridegroom at their home following the ceremony. The newlyweds were honored at a garden reception at the home of the brides parents. The bride was lovely in a gown of white organza with fitted bodied trimmed with scheffli and Chantilly lace. They wore street length dresses in shades on pink and dustry rose trimmed with chantilly lace at the neckline and sleeves. Flower girls were Lindsey , Sowell, Mandy Spencer, Cindy and Yvonne Phelps. Best man duties were performed by Jeff Sowell, a brother of the bridegroom. Ushering were Tom OBrien and Dave OBrien, brothers, of the bride; Don Sowell, a brother of the bridegroom ; and Harold Phelps. Following a wedding trip to Southern California, the newlyweds re making their home in Salt Lake City. The bridegroom graduated from Viewmont High in 1979. He has fulfilled an LDS Church mission in the San Antonio, Texas mission and has been attending the University of Utah.
