The (36 sq. ft. of floor space) can be built in his backyard, though it takes six men to lift them onto a trailer for delivery. Neighbors assist Peck in moving them to their owners sites. Larger gazebos must be built on site. Screw holes are carefully concealed and no boards have exall have been posed ends capped. Using only a skill saw, saber saw, a screwdriver gun, and other hand tools, Peck can put together a gazebo in three eight- - to days. Prices of the gazebos range from $925 for the models modto $2175 for the twelve-foo- t els. Prices include built-i- n interior benches. While Peck has done little advertising himself, word in-of mouth seems to be stirring terest. A man from Logan drove to Bountiful specifically to talk to Peck about obtaining plans for building the gazebos. Plans may be available on a rental basis sometime in the future. Due to the many hours invested in developing and refining the plans, Peck is not presently renting, or selling plans. One of Pecks gazebos was exhibited at the State Fair in Salt Lake City last fall, and will six-fo- ten-ho- ,A rs ot ur six-fo- ot be featured in the Tribune Home and Garden Show at the Salt Palace March A modified gazebo that Peck built was recently installed at Saltair. Construction on adjacent buildings was halted while Peck completed the gazebo so that both gazebo and 3-- 6. ten-fo- ot buildings could be finished in matching decor. The structure is sectioned for use as change rooms for swimmers. One of the most attractive features of a gazebo is that it lends itself to a great variety of landscaping possibilities. Whether framed by flowering shrubs or trees, or surrounded by colorful flowers, a gazebo provides a classic touch to any garden. Interior lighting that enhances the lattice work also heightens the effect. Even a coat of paint changes the mood of a gazebo. All white structures seem to court a Victorian air. Gazebos finished all in redwood result in more rustic appearance, reminiscent of Scandinavian saunas. People want gazebos for a variety of reasons. Developed by Bell Laboratories, the artificial larynx was first offered by Mountain Bell in 1960. It is designed for persons who have lost their voices through surgical removal of the larynx or paralysis of the vocal cords. It substitutes electronic vibrations for the natural vibrations of the voice. Sound is produced when the hand-hel- d unit is placed against the throat and activated as the person speaks.
