The Utah Affiliate of the American Diabetes Association in conjunction with the Deseret Gym is holding a racquetball tournament better know as Racquet-U- p For Diabetes. Racquetball has become a highly addictive sport. It will be held at the Deseret Gym and games will be scheduled in late afternoon and early evening on week days and morning hours on Saturday. The Deseret Gym has generously donated their racquetball facilities for the tournament. Gulmast Khan, Director of the Racquetball and Squash Program at the Deseret Gym, will be in charge of Racquet-UFor Diabetes. Khan is a professional squash player and competes on the pro circuit frequently. He has proven to be very helpful in constructing the tournament. Danny Krmaer of KSL Radio p and Television is honorary chairman and has been assisting with the publicity end of the event.
