She was raised in Redmond and attended schools in Redmond and Salina. After graduation she went to Utah State University and Stevens-Heneg- er She College. Russ married Buchanan of Venice, where they make their home. The couple Cheryl Buchanan has five children and four grandchildren. Buchanan is currently the treasurer for Sevier County. 1. What will be your top priority if elected? My top priority is to continue with the excellence and professionalism the office must have to meet the needs of Sevier County. I will continue to improve and update our records to meet state and federal regulations. We are looking at several software programs to improve and upgrade our tax collection Senator Janet website. 2. What single greatest strength w ill you bring to this office if elected? Having worked in the treasurers office for almost six d years, and knowing office what this requires, I am capable and proficient in this position.
