Last Friday North Sex ier High Scliool's Drama Department sponsored and held the traditional Sadie Hawkins dance the first girl's choice dance of the year. car's Sadie Haw kins Dance xx as used to buy the play, Im Sorry, the Bridge is Out, You'll hax e to Spend the Night. a classic monster musical full of fun, laughs, and the craziest characters you xx ill ever meet. The drama students are hard at work getting The theme for the dance w as Hallow ecn, x itli an atmosphere that matched; spider xxebs and black crepe paper littered the dance floor. Couples came dressed in pairs such as Santa and Mrs. Clause. Ketchup and Mustard, and Ozzy and Sharon Osborne. A costume contest xxas held, and couples xvere judged according to how funny, scary, and creative their costumes were. Prizes were given to x inners of the contest, along xx ith a grand prize gix en to the ox erall best couple" of the dance. The money raised from this y you set on your porch with candles on them, make sure they are far enough out of the accixvay so hat dentally be set on fire. Make sure that if your cliild is carry ing a prop, such as a scythe, butcher knife, or pitchfork, the tips arc smooth and flexible enough to not cause injury if fallen on.
