Roat felt his performances were mediocre, the 4:28.64 clocking in the mile run and the 9:54.83 time in the 3200 meters. "Id really like to have things in the groove between the BYU In- - finished fourth there and Scott McIntosh took sixth place. Things are going a lot better for us at Bountiful, said Cutler, Coach Quinn is getting a lot of people out to help us on our depth. I dont have a favorite between the two races, I like em both. Id like to get my 100 meter time down to 10.6 or 10.7 before things are over with. Joe Martineau was the other Viking titlest as he went 13 feet in the pole vault to beat out teammates Shannon Jenkins (13-0- ) and Laytons Clint Brower(13-0- ).
