Show Regis salon opens LAYTON A new hairstyling salon is in town but its managed by a pro with 22 years in the business serving Davis County men and women. Regis Hairstylists in the salon and Judy Burton the manager of the new Layton Hills Mall facility. Its open seven days a week to meet every schedule: Monday-Frida9 a.m. 9 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-- 6 p.m. and Sunday, noon-- 5 p.m. Working to the motto "we listen before we cut, perm or color your hair, Regis is an international concern with 675 salons throughout the United States and in Canada. Youth auditions slated In preparation for the Layton LAYTON Arts Council Youth Recital, an audition will be held on Saturday, April 25 in the Layton Heritage Museum. Elementary age students will audition at 3 p.m. They will be followed by junior high age students at 4 p.m. Both vocalists and instrumentalists are welcome to audition. The Arts Council is looking for good soloists and group numbers. Those auditioning should bring their own accompanist.
