The Lady 'Birds have a combination of six returning lettermen, including forward Sheri Davies, a number of excellent newcomers and a fourteen game home schedule should add up to an excellent season for the Thunderbirds in 1987-8"We should have a good season," Adams said "We have a home schedule and we don't have as many Division schools scheduled this season. think we can possibly be as good as we were last season and maybe better." The Lady 'Birds open their season on the road at the United States International Tourney Nov. 27-2Following the tournament they return home to host the Lady Invitational on Dec. 4 and 5 in the Centrum. Participating in the Lady Invitational is Western Sate College, Cal State Dominguez Hills and the University of Redlands.
