Show PACE 2 THE THUNDERBIRD NOVEMBER MONDAY 16, 1987 N Mon-Tradition- al Student Update Student representatives Bobby Flow and Robbie Gray are proposing the idea of a spousedependent card to the SUSC Administration and ASSUSC senate. This would be a motification to the already available spouse students cards. We believe this will assist better in their desire to participate in more of SUSCs activities, said Flow. Spouse cards enable the husbandwife of any SUSC student to attend all functions with the same benefits an SUSC activity card provides. If our spousedependent card passes, it will also allow children of SUSC students to attend activities with these same benefits, said Flow. now for Spouse cards are available-righstudents in the cashiers office located in the Administration Building. Prices are $4.00 for Fall and Winter quarters, and $3.00 for Spring quarter, or $10.00 for the year. students should also prepare for an activity on November 30th, said Flow, it will be something you dont want to miss. al al t NfiCfi Convention fi Success Twelve ASSUSC representatives attended a convention in Los Angeles, November bringing home new ideas for student activities and events. The NACA Far West Regional Conference is held once each year with over 500 students participating. The conference offers non-sto- p action with professional talent showcases and educational sessions, said Charlie Ambelang, 1987 NACA chairperson. SUSC delegates were able to take advantage of exhibits and promotional acts set up throughout the conference, said Tony Pellegrini, these provided ideas for bookings and developed many contacts beneficial to concerts and other SUSC activities. Thirty 20 minute p cfessional talent acts were viewed, said Pellgrini, some of which we are trying to bring back to our own campus. SUSC delegate.', were not only able to receive new ideas, they were also able to share them, said Pellegrini, it is definitely something SUSC delegates can look forward to next year. nssusc L J LJL- - 6:0010:00 UUUUU W)U LlJ P.M.
