She is the former Clare Lenora Adams. Mark A. Laney graduated from Box Elder high May 13, 1928 and attended Utah State University where he took courses in Poultry Hatching. He was in partnership with his brother, Guy, in the Poultrymens Hatchery in Murray for over 20 years. After that he worked for the Granite School District, retiring after 20 years service. He has been president of the Quorum of Seventy, and MIA; assistant ward clerk and served a stake mission from 1954 to 1956. He recently served a mission with his wife in the Tulsa, Oklahoma Mission from 1975 to 1977. He is now assistant ward clerk in the Murray 28th ward. Olive Bernice Hastings was born in Park Valley, Utah and graduated from Box Elder high in 1929. After raising her family she worked at Cottonwood Hospital for several years and then with Granite School District.
