Show Ramblin' On Strikes have been in the headlines quite a bit these days. The summer-lon- g Kennecott strike stopped the regular flow of paychecks to numerous local households and left many work- ers chomping at the bit to get back to work and out of the house. Shipyard and mining strikes in Poland have created quite a stir in this country as Americans cheered for the workers, knowing that their success was felt most deeply by the Russians. Its somewhat satisfying to know the U. S. is not the only country with problems. And, on the sports page, George West Valley by Mike Gorrell Brett of the Kansas City Royals has been hitting anything that could be called a strike. But none of those match up to the Big Strike. The impact of the Big Strike hasnt been felt yet, and it might not be felt very much, but if it hits home, the results could be traumatic.
