Nearly a million American homes will be predisposed to see COR IANTON because of both a direct and an indirect interest in the musical score of Dr. Edgar Stillman Kelley. Many million are interested in knowing something: about the educated, highly cultured America. white civilization of CORlANTON unfolds a gripping atory of romance and drama Jn this very atmosphere. "CORlANTON can, therefore, expect to be greeted by readymade audiences all over the world predisposed to see the production for reasons entirely apart from its intrinsic value as screen entertainment. world. stands on its own merits. in the sun. It is big enough and powerful enough to find its own-plIt needs no artificial boost. It seeks no favors. It is not subsidized nor controlled by any outside interest op influence. Still, rumors to the contrary have been circulated some innocently some maliciously. And it Is to correct the erroneous impression which has been creaed by these rumors that, this statement is being published. - Read carefully the facts briefly outlined elsewhere on this page. You will then see why CORlANTON can and must stand alone strictly on its merits as a screen offering. It is imperative that it goes before the great Movie public the world over as the Highest type of screen entertainment, unhampered by the suspicion of being propaganda r. of any sort There are two major causes responsible for one of the most persistent of the rumors to which 1 have referred. i -- CORlANTON, dramatic incidents rethe play, In the first suggested-bcounted in the Book of Mormon. Secondly, the famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Organ will render under exclusive contract the special music prepared for the purpose by Dr. Edgar Stillman Kelley, composer of the original musical score for CORlANTON. These two facts have given rise to the rumors that CORlANTON is a MORMON enterprise or is being financed or sponsored by the Church as one of its activities. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The Church is not in the Motion Picture business. And it has never been asked to finance or sponsor CORlANTON, Such a request would be as unreasonable and inconsistent as it would be harmful to the best interests of the Production. CORlANTON is a great drama. It is full of romance and stirring action. Its appeal is universal. There is nothing provincial or limited about it. It advocates no dogma. It preaches no serman. The fact that it Was suggested by the Book of Mormon is incidental. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Great Organ will be beard in CORlANTON because we consider the combination the greatest and most appropriate musical talent for the purpose of the production. On the other hand, those in charge of the Choir and Organ considered CORlANTON the most advantageous vehicle to carry their music to the far corners of the ' ' ' earth. This arrangement, therefore, represents both good showmanship and good business. CORHere is another fact of vital importance. This is to set at rest another idle rumor. g lANTON has no public program. Ample finances for all production, exploitation and distribution requirements were pledged by private interests in New York City and Utah many months ago. This, however, will not exclude a limited number of interested Utahns who have expressed a desire to participate in CORlANTON both in the glory and the profits. Owing to changed financial conditions during the past few months brought about by causes well known to the public, a limited amount of the capital stock of the Corianton Corporation, for which finances were pledged, cannot be taken up by the original subscribers. This stock, is therefore, available, as long as it lasts, to those who desire to participate financially in the profits expected from the world wide exhibition of this great production in its Motion Picture form. For your convenience, the coupon below, if properly filled out and mailed, will bring you detailed information as to how you can subscribe for your allotment of this available stock in an amount not less than $100.00 or more than $1000.00. N. ng Dr. v'e.JW What other special productions have done, it is not unreasonable to expect such a production as 'CORlANTON to do. It is a great play. It Has an unusual locale. Its musical setting is superb. Its appeal is universal It has a ready-mad-e audience of many millions predisposed In advance to see the production. It stands an unusually fine chance to return f 40.00 or more for every single dollar invest-e-d in its production. ri Mr. Byron Park, The Belvedere, , Salt Lake City, Utah.
