Show t Turkey Growing Youths Head for State Show All roads lead to Salt Lake City as exuberant Club and Future Farmer youths from widely separated areas of the state gather there this week to compete in the 11th annual Utah Tnrkey Show. 4-- H The Utah Turkey Federation-sponsore- d event will be held Friday and Saturday in the Hotel Utah Motor Lodge. With the help of proud fathers, the youths will haul their processed birds to the Utah Poultry and Farmers Cooperative plant at 570 West Fourth South to enter them in the show. Pick-u- p trucks and outomobiles laden with show birds will wheel up to the plant all day today. There the birds, raised from young poults, will be weighed and entered in one of ten weight classes in the show. Altogether, some 111 youths 10 to 18 years old will compete for $1,400 in prize money, according to John Morgan, Layton, vice president of the federation and show manager.
