Lawrence Davis and Lawrence REZE Watson were injured last week Spring Canyon Child Suffers Burns from Leak in Steam Pipe Highlights in the News from Castle Gate Suzanne Forsyth was 'burned quite Ibadly on the feet and legs last Wednesday when she slipped into some boiling water and mud made by a leak in the steam pipe by the school building. She was treated by Dr. O. B. Spencer at the hospital and later released to her home where she is recuperating. Everyone is hoping that it wont be long until she is able to be up and around again. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Jewkes, who have resided at Castle Gate, are now going to live around the bend in Spring Canyon. Merrill is working here. Earl Evans of Salt Lake City, who is ouditor for the Spring Canyon Coal Company, was in Spring Canyon Wednesday and Thursday. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Gene Austin and children of Helper rd visited with Mrs. Austins parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harley English. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Farish of Compton, California, are now visiting in Spring Canyon with Mr. Farishs 'parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Farish. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Olsen, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Evatz, Mr. and Mrs. Quinton Hunter, Gaylene Mills, and Darlene Wall spent Sunday picnicking. Mr. and Mrs. Will 'Hanson of Price visited Sunday at the Harold Lambert and Henry Day homes. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Anderson, Mrs. Henry E. Draper, and Mr. and Mrs. Grant B. Jensen of Spring Canyon attended the wedding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Vernon D. Bradshaw at Rains, Saturday evening.
