Its sad Myrl Chamberlain Carr and grandmother, died Monday, Aug. 1, at her home, 236 South Sixth East in Brigham City of cancer. She was born Jan. 9, 1911, in American Fork, Utah, a daughter of Charles Allen and Fannie Augusta Millar Chamberlain. She was married to Joseph Smith Carr on May 9, 1931, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. He died May 28, 1977. She had lived in Seattle, Wash., for three years, in Salt Lake City for 14 years, in Boise, Idaho, for two years, and in Tremonton for two years. She had resided in Brigham City since 1949. she was a graduate of American Fork schools and beauty college. She was active in the LDS church, holding teaching and leadership positions in Relief society, MIA, Primary and Cache Genealogy library. Survivors include one daughter and two sons, Mrs. Jay G. (Marilyn) Lindberg and M. Bruce Carr, both of Mantua; Jerry Joe Carr of Brigham City; 15 grandchildren, one brothers and sisters, Zenneth K. Chamber-lain- , Alpine, Utah; Dean Chamberlain of Warrenton, Wash.; Patricio G. Silva F. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Aug. 5, at 11 a.m. in the Brigham City First LDS Ward chapel. Friends may call at the Olsen Funeral home, 205 South First East, this evening (Thursday) from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Brigham City cemetery.
