I am hoping this is a new start toward get- ting this communitys news items sent in. However, I guess well just have to wait and see, Our best wishes for good health is being sent to Dell and Elia Tanner. Ella was admitted to the McKay-De- e hospital Monday morning for tests. And Dell is being admitted Tuesday for surgery. Merlin and Kenna Tanner and daughter, Terrie, accompanied them to Ogden Friday. They returned Friday evening and joined their sons, Jay and Brent, at the rodeo in Tremon-ton- . Dell and Ella stayed with her mother, Mrs. Mary Betteridge, in Ogden. Girls Baptized Two little daughters of Shirley Rae Jones were baptized in Chuck and Cathy Kimber and sons, Chuck and Jared, were here from Corinne to spend the weekend at their ranch. Max and Melissa Tanner also spent several days in Tremon-to- n attending the county fair. Five new students were welcomed at school Monday from the Lucin area. A new family, Mr. and Mrs. Brewer, had three students school age and Donna and Kara Jones are also new students. New Titles The title of Grandpa and Grandma is being tried out on John and Flo Gross. Equally proud are the parents, Keith and Judy Kimber, of their new little baby boy. Flo has been kept busy going back and forth to Idaho to help out with the new baby and mother. She also made him one of the smallest western outfits on record, Id guess, and it was really a display of her sewing talent. The new baby will be named John Edwin. Marian and Jack Kimber have had a busy but enjoyable Bear River High. They have an apartment there. Reese and Irma Warburton and daughter, Rosemary, went to Tremonton Sunday to take their other daughters to school. Sherisse is going back for her senior year at Bear River and Carolyn will be a junior there this year. The girls are going to live with the Don Borup family in Tremonton. The Warburtons also enjoyed a short visit Sunday evening with Irmas mother, Mrs. Angie Adams, in Logan. Jeff Thomas is also back at Bear River High. He left Sunday for Tremonton. Bur- ley Sunday evening to live with his brother and sister-in-laBlaine and Julie Tanner. He will be a senior at Burley High school. And last but not least, it was a most difficult task for Hughie and Marge Thompson to let their last chick out of the nest. When Blair and Brian drove away Saturday we realized we had no family left for the first time in 25 years. Blair will be a senior and Brian a junior at Box Elder and they will live with their sister, LeAnn, in Brigham City. Our wishes for success and happiness go with every young person who leaves the community to further his education.
