Dr. and Mrs. LaMar Harris accompanied by Mrs. Cecelia Schultz of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Millard Binyon of Chicago, Reed Anderson of Bothwell, Mrs. George Shelby and daugh- ter Kahty and son Bobbie of Garland visited in Malta last week and also enjoyed visiting the City of Rocks. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Verl J. Rolfe. A wedding breakfast feted the young couple and the bridal party held at the Lions House. A wedding reception was held that evening at the Fldredge House by Carol Southern Safe and sound .back at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kan. is Dennis Allred. Dennis was just ahead of the big flood that hit the Denver, Colo, area. Dennis had been home for a week. He celebrated his birthday on the 24th of July with his family. He is stationed at McConnell Air Base. So Dennis was on his way back to Kansas to report for duty when he ran into part of the flood. At one point his car was washed off the road and into a signpost. He called home to his parents, Cliff and Mary Allred, on Monday to report he was fine. The Senior citizens went down to the community center and enjoyed a delicious chicken dinner last Wednesday. Hosts and hostesses were Sid and Violet Nelson and Jay and Marilyn Lindberg. It was the Stake Senior Citizens party. On Saturday a workshop was held followed by a luncheon. Allison and Lynette Reeves had a fun vacation trip with grandparents Chet and Bernice Rasmussen last week. On the way to Yellowstone they stopped in Ashton, Idaho and visited with Todd Reeves who is working on his uncle Lynn Looslis farm there. They enjoyed a camp out in the travel trailer and stopped in Island Park on their way home to visit Jeanettes sister and family, Byron and Shirley Burnham. Camping Trip The Boy Scouts went to Camp Loll near Yellowstone for eight days. Bruce Carr and Doyle Hansen took the boys up and Bishop Rasmussen, Bruce Carr and Darwen Hailing brought them home. The boys installed a new flag pole for their service project. They enjoyed canoeing, swimming, hiking, Olympic events, row boating and eating. They attended Merit badge classes and all received at least two badges each. Mrs. Mike Salvo and daughter also came up from Ogden, William George Voll. 19. has been sworn into the United States Air force Delayed Enlistment program. William is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Voll of 50 South West, Brigham City. He graduated from Sequoia, High 6 school in Redwood City, California in June 1975. Airman Voll will leave on November 28 to begin basic military training at Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas. His recruiter is Sergeant Jerry Roehl of the Ogden Recruiting office.
