Terry Smith and son Mark attended the snowmobile races in Franklin, Idaho Saturday where Mark was one of the participants. Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Adams and son Douglas drove to Salt Lake City Saturday. Their son Darryl who is receiving therapy at the University Medical center accompanied them home to spend the weekend. Overnight guests of Mrs. Nancy McCullock and family in Sunset Friday were Nancys parents Mr, and Mrs. Wayne Garn. Miss Marla Westley of Brigham City spent the weekend visiting her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Anger. The Stage Coach Camp of DUP met at the home of Mrs. Orpha Oyler Thursday afternoon. Captain Essie Peterson conducted a short business meeting prior to the lesson presentation. Mrs. Essie Peterson gave the lesson "Autobiographies of Six Pioneer Women. She chose Mrs. Elizabeth Haven Barlow and gave an interesting sketch of her life. A pioneer history of Sarah Elsie Simons was capably given by her great granddaughter Mrs. Merle Larson. Refreshments were served. The next meeting will be held Mar. 12 with Mrs. Helen Marriott as hostess. Mrs. LaRae Coombs will give the lesson. Thursday (today) Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Anger accompanied by their daughter Mrs. Linda Westley of Brigham City will spend the day visiting Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anger, Bishop and Mrs. Darold Simmons and family in Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Gail Anger and family in Bountiful. son-in-la- w Mrs. Norman Petersen and ' Mr. and Mrs. Eric Coombs of Logan have moved to Fielding to make their home. They are living in the home where Iris Coombs lived. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Coombs drove to Salt Lake City and accompanied LeRoy Crow home. LeRoy has been receiving medical care in the LDS hospital the past week. Debbie Welling and Janet Coombs spent the weekend in Elsinore visiting friends. Visiting relatives and friends in this area during the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Cameron of Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. David Scott and daughter Annette attended a homecoming testimonial held in Ogden Sunday honoring Elder David Gee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Gee who has just returned after fulfilling an LDS Mission in Lima, Peru. Claude Allred, McKay Allred and Lynn Allred attended the championship cutter races for ' the Western States held at Jackson Hole Saturday and Sunday. Mobiles Son, formerly owned by Claude Allred and Sons (now owned by Dean Olsen in Wyoming) was one of the horses in the team who won the championship. Forty teams participated. Proceeds from the races will go to the Shriners Childrens hospital in Salt Lake City. The race was sponsored by the Shriners. family.
