She went first to Huntington Park where she spent six weeks with her daughter, Mrs. Elma Christensen. In a proclamation issued this week, Mayor Harold Felt designated February as American Heart Month and urged all residents of Brigham City to support the 1976 Heart Fund campaign to be conducted across the nation. The mayor asked citizens to support the efforts of the Box Elder Heart Fund campaign and to help in the fight against the nations number one killer, heart and blood vessel diseases. Mayor Felt stated in his announcement that these diseases claim more than a million lives each year and account for 52 percent of deaths from all causes.
