I understand we will have electric power so we can do opr thing without that nolsey generator, and will we be glad to have an electric timer and strip pictures!! Pat Roscoe, Barbara Bingham, Paula and Martha Flack have been most efficient and have made a tremendous effort to get the time as accurate as justly earnpossible. They have ed their title, ' "the fastest thumbs in the West. , Able to Sleep Bob Petersen will be able to sleep Saturday nights without hearing the replay of a few choice words he has been called when the gates opened too soon or not soon enough, but maybe he got smart and wore ear muffs, he had a legitmate excuse; it's been cold enough. Our track judges, John Bingham, DuWain Jacobson and Brian Murray, will be glad to see a race sitting down and not under all that pressure. Bill Flack has been just great this year. Without that generator, he just might be able to hear what he says, and thia may just shake him a little. The gals taking tickets have one little job left. We are going to race in Tremonton Saturday and our little green surrey will be out there. Everyone will have one more chance to participate, and then the, drawing will take place to see' who the lucky owner will be. Hope its me. The Eagles 51-5- GSra UJUFQ lead to had a quick four-poiopen the fourth period, but the Trojans came back and it was nip and tuck the remainder of the way. Rohmer said Covers-u- p found some kind of offensive formula against the Trojans, slipping loose in the third quarter for five quick baskets while the team was trying to set up Jackson, who had held Stan Peterson to five points, well below his average, fouled out in the third period and Petersen hit 17 more points to pace the Morgan win, said the coach. The Eagles had 27 assists, with eight from Oldbull and Stormy. Stormy also had seven rebounds. The Eagles are idle until Feb. 27 when they host Union. He said Morgan took two time outs to try and stop the move, but never did shut Covers-u- p off. . And it was apparent last Friday ps the Eagles took the Trojans down the wire before losing the heartbreaker. Even Match The game was a pretty even match, with the Eagles canning a very fine 63.6 percent of their shots. The Trojans kept pace, ' expecially in the second half as the teams traded shot for shot. Rohmer said the Trojans scored with 15 seconds left to go ahead and a shot by Richard Stormy ringed out as time ticked away. The Eagles got the ball back after they had fouled, and Morgan hit the pitches for a 3 lead. Myron Oldbull canned a shot and the Eagles had the ball with five seconds to play but couldnt convert, the coach said. Rohmer was pleased with the play of his entire team, expecially frofri Terrance Covers-u- p who was the magician of the night with 30 points. Zig Jackson had 13 for the losers. Nelson Standish sneaked out of the school hospital to play and' had a fine game, hitting three for three from the floor for six points. 66-6- Sprained Ankle Jimmy Gould sprained an ankle in the first period, iriAKSliPRCSF BSSSTCI CACUS Flexible Vinyl Insulation, All Copper Construction Resists Oil S Moisture UAin ATC2-C- ?
