Burke Marion Tomsen Summers, 74, Tremonton, was dead on arrival Friday, Feb. 13, 1976 at Bear River Valley hospital of a heart attack. He was born Jan. 21, 1902 in Bothwell, a son of James and Tennie Tomsen Summera. He married Edythe Davis on May 21, 1926, in Brigham City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Mrs. Erma Hansen Burke, 63, of 4142 Edgehill drive, Ogden, a former school teacher in Box Elder county, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1976, in the Salt Lake City LDS hospital. She was born March 6, 1912, in Elwood, a daughter of Amos P. and Eva Dee Brough Hansen. She was married to Caseel D. Burke on Sept. 15, 1939, in the Salt Lake City LDS temple. She was a member of the Ogden 55th ward where she was an officer in the YWMIA and stake Sunday school. She had served two short-termissions to the eastern states and eastern Canada. She was a member of the Ogden Education association, Utah Education association and tempi. He had been employed in Box Eldar Couty School district as a bus driver and teacher of driving training for 30 years. He had worked at Bushnell hospital as a guard and as a member of the Tremonton Police force. At the time of death, he was working in the Utah Liquor in store Commisbion Tremonton. He attended an automotive mechanic school in Los Angeles and had served as president of the Bear River Valley Wildlife federation. He was an elder in the LDS Tremonton Fourth ward. Surviving are his widow of Tremonton, two sons and two daughters, Robert M. Summers and David J. Summers, both of Soda Springs, Idaho; Mrs. Larry J, (Joan) Holder of Draper and Mrs. Steven D. fSiOrytt) Green of Bountiful; 11 grandchildren; two brothers aad two .sisters, Mrs. Odell (Norma) 'Cooper and Orion Summers, Both of Salt Lake City; Farrell Summers of Both-mand Mrs. Gerald (Zelda) Smith of Draper. She was born Oct. 4, 1923 in Trenton, a daughter of Levi Mose and Alice Nelsen Andreasen. She was married to Robert F. Anderson Feb. 7 1942. The marriage was solemnized April 30, 1959 in the Logan Temple. They were later divorced. She was a resident of Perry and Brigham City for 15 years, living in Tooele for two years, before returning to Brigham City to make her home. She was a member of the Brigham City Second ward, where she was an active member. She was a Primary and Relief society teacher. Survivors include three sons and two daughters. Robert F. Anderson Jr. of Tooele, and Loren Harvey Anderson of The family of Oral W. Brough would like to thank everyone who was so kind, thoughtful and considerate during and after his passing away. We wish we could personally acknowledge each and every one but do not have all the addresses.
