M she said. made a cherry pie, So I Roger didnt like cherry pies either. Ive continued making apple pies (theyre my favorite) Roger seems to like them now, too. PINEAPPLE AND CHEESE SALAD READY TO SERVE at the Mexican dinner ore Beth Hick ox and Cheryl Andersen of the CMC youth group med. can crushed pineapple (134 oz.) c. sugar, water, 3 pkg. jello (small-lime- ) t2 c. nuts (chopped) 14 c. grated cheese, 1 can evaporated milk (chilled and whipped) Bring pineapple, water and sugar to boil in saucepan; Add jello. Cool in Frig. When mixture begins to set, add nuts, cheese and whipped milk. Pour into dripper pan or dish. Spread l2 of mixture in greased 8 square pan. Cover evenly with date filling (listed below) Cover with remaining mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 min. Cool, cut in squares. Judy is an active young homemaker in Deweyville. Her husband is on the faculty at the Box Elder High school in Brigham City. They also have an irrigated farm and raise beef cattle. Judy had an exciting school career. She spent her girlhood in Ogden, later going to New Zealand with her parents. (Her father served a labor mission, helping to build the college and temple located at Temple View) They spent four years in New Zealand where Judy graduated from high school. Upon returning to the states she enrolled at Brigham Young university in Provo. Later she was employed in the office at the McKay hospital in Ogden. The Masons have four sons and one daughter Shaun, 11; David, 8; Scott, 4; Moana, 2, and William, just eight months old. consistency about 2 FUDGE Stir constantly. Remove from heat. Add 1 12 oz. pkg. She is a graduate of Snow College and also attended the University of Utah and Utah State university. She was a school teacher for 22 years. She taught in Wales, in Snowville and in Thatcher. On May 21, 1919 she became the bride of Roy Anderson in rites performed in the Manti LDS temple. Her husband owned and operated a farm until he retired. Mrs. Anderson organized the first school lunch program in Box Elder County. . Active in. both church' and civic affairs, Mrs. Anderson served as president of the ward Relief society, MIA and Primary. She also served with the stake Primary, Sunday school and MIA. She and her husband completed an LDS mission in the Northwestern states. In 1969 she was chosen Mother of the Year by the Tremonton Womens Civic league. She is an active member of the Midland Camp of DUP. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson recently observed their golden wedding anniversary. They are parents of three sons and two daughter: Kenneth Anderson of Ogden, William R. Anderson of Thatcher, Dr. Alma Anderson of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Stanley (Bernice) Andersen of Tremonton, Mrs. Wayne H. (LuDene) Young of Willard.
