Mike Box Elder has one final opportunity to salvage another win from the current football season when Weber Highs touted Warriors come to town Friday. Game time at Ferguson field has been changed from the regular 7:30 p.m. nighttime affair to 2 p.m., the cooling autumn weather being the reason. The Bees have little about which to shout as the grid campaign nears its regular season windup. They have recorded just one victory as the opposed to seven losses most recent being a 55-- 0 shellacking at the hands of Sky View last week. By contrast, Weber is spor) ting one of its best records of recent years, and with a win Friday can clinch second place in Region One and a berth in the Class state playoffs. It appears, then that the momentum rests with the Pleasant View gang. species The measure of success in the natural world is the survival of a species. The Stars, weakened by holdouts and injuries, commenced play with three road games last weekend and came away with three consecutive at the hands of defeats, definding ABA champion New to York on Friday, Virginia on Saturday and to St. Louis on Sunday.
