Mrs. June Garfield, president, informed members that suggestions for next years study course had been sent to Salt Lake City for consideration by the study committee. Mrs. Glenna Hales presented the lesson The Anatomy of a Symphony Concert and also discussed the personality of Arturo Tascanini, famous Italian conductor. The second lesson for the evening was given by Mrs. Phyllis Markham on the The Music Makers Instruments and Personalities. The three Ellis men are Mrs. Greens brothers and Mrs. Pinegar is her sister. Mrs. Pinegar remained to spend the week visiting. Elder James Robert Walton, son of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Dr. and Mrs. LaMar Harris have been attending meetings of Federation the of Prosthodonics in Chicage and also visiting Mrs. Harris two sisters Mrs. Paul Pavlik and Mrs. Leo Koet. Dr. Harris came home by plane and Mrs. Harris remained to visit Mr. and Mrs. George Shelby and family in Whitewater, Wis. Houseguests at the home of Dr. and Mrs. LaMar Harris this week were Mrs. Thomas Rees and son Brigham Dean of Odessa, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Orville Kaplan and George Shelby of Chicago. Mrs. DeAnna Allen and daughters Amy and Alyson of Beaver Dam spent the weekend with Mrs. Allen's mother, Mrs. Grace Hales while Lewis Allen was deer hunting. The Tremonton Womens Civic league met at the senior center Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Wilma Dunn as hostess. Mrs. Reva Roland gave an Date With Bert interesting which included a Bacharack, brief sketch of his life along with some of his most popular compositions which she sang accompanied by Mrs. Carol Jensen at the piano. Elder Kendrick is entering the mission home in Salt Lake City Saturday prior to leaving for a LDS mission in England on Oct. 31. Sunday they all attended a homecoming testimonial for their niece Miss Vivienne Smith, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Grant Gill Smith of Logan who has just completed a LDS mission in Texas South. An open house was held at the home Smith following Sacrament meeting for close friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Rhead, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Foxley, their houseguest Mrs. J. Harold Smith, joined Dr. and Mrs. Grant Gill Smith of Logan for a dinner party at the home of their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Taggart in Logan Tuesday. Police investigate 'kidnapping' helps police nab five wanted in Brigham NCIC Using a National Crime Investigation computer, Brigham City police have solved three old cases on department books. Cleared were a burglary at Hansen Chevrolet, a burglary at the Eagles and a house burglary in Brigham City, according to Detective Harold Howard. Two Denver men, whose identities have not been released by Denver, Colo., police are being held in connection with the Sept. 18, 1973 burglary of Hansen Chevrolet. Joseph Andrew Martinez, 18, Corinne, was apprehended in Santa Ana, Calif., by Orange county sheriffs deputies after it was discovered a warrant was being held in Brigham City for his arrest. House Burglary Howard said Martinez is charged with burglary of the LaMar Walters residence, 159 North First East. He was extradited to Utah last week by Howard and Detective Sergeant Sheridan Nelson. Christensen of Chicago became the bride of Joseph Dennis Fredricksen, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Eddis Fredricksen Wednesday. Bishop Virgil Francom officiated at the ceremony in the presence of immediate members of the families and a few close friends. An open house was held in the First Ward Cultural hall that evening. Mrs. ueAnn Fredricksen was matron of honor with Michael Fredricksen assuming duties of best man. Janette McDonald was at the guest registrar. In charge of gifts were Mrs. Sharon Snell of Kanab and Mrs. Marilyn Bachelor of Granger. Light refreshments were served. The groom is a graduate of Utah Trade Tech., in Provo and attended Weber State college. He is currently employed at the Cross Roads Service station. Howard said the Denver men were arrested by police after items entered into the NCIC as stolen were system discovered in their possession. Items included titles and other papers. Garrison, has been notified that he will be included in the eighth annual edition of Who's Who Among School High American Students, 1973-74- . is the largest student award publication in the nation. Garrison and other students from more than 20,000 public, This private and parochial high schools in the country are recognized for their leadership in academics, athletics and other activities or community service in the book. A son of Mr. and Mrs. U. E. Garrison, he is serving as studentbody president at Box Elder High this year and is captain of the Young Americans television quiz team. Garrison is also a past officer of Thespians, Ski Club, and National Honor society and is a r letterman on the school golf team. He carries a 3.9 grade point average and is enrolled in A. P. calculas this year and last year successfully completed A. P. chemistry. He attended two leadership conferences last summer and is master councilor of DeMolay. Sgt. Nelson said a man reported seeing three men place a woman, wrapped and gagged, into a car and leave the city Sunday night. The man reported he followed the car a short distance, then turned back to report the incident to police, Nelson said. Police said they have no reports of any missing persons and can not link the incident with the disappearance of a high school coed who is the daughter to the Midvale police chief.
