In the reception line were Brent Wyatt, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wyatt, Mrs. Barbara Fenton, (brides mother) and Kevin Soronson as best man. Acting as brides maids were Ruth Jensen, Jenette Oliver and Debbie Wyatt. Frank Fenton, the brother to the bride, was also in the line. The couple was married May at Arvada 25, ward 2nd Colorado. The bride wore white satin and net with daises and carried a boquet of daisies and roses. The groom was his handsome self in a blue and black tuxedo. Colors for the evening were baby blue and yellow. The cake was a three tier adorned with yellow daisies. Refreshments were cake, mints and pineapple frappa. The newlyweds will now make their home at the Wallentine in Apartments Mantua. Change in Address Elder Melvern Palmes is now at P.O. Box 42, Laoag City, Uocos-NortPhilippines. He has just been transferred from Manila. Right now he is as far north on the islands as one can get. Melvern is District Leader and at present he and his companion are the only two missionaries at this area. Lagoon Day It is Lagoon day for the Box Elder Stake, Thursday June 13 at Oak Terrace. There will be free strip tickets, free swimming and free rides with reduced rates on all of a newly for- med organization called the Foster Parents association. This organization isnt only for foster parents. They have many areas where volunteers are desperately needed. If you have a few extra hours a week you can alleviate the lonliness in the lives of elderly folks, counsel teenagers or work with young mothers who cant seem to cope with their problems or their children.
