The new leader is Mrs. Amos (Kathy) Musser, who will share local League responsibility with Mrs. Jeanne Harrison. She is the wife of a Box Elder High school teacher and the mother of three children, all of whom were breastfed. As with most mothers who apply for leadership in the Mrs. LeLeche League, Musser has a deep appreciation for the trials of getting a newborn off to the best start in life by breastfeeding. She gave e birth to a three-poun- d boy and with the help of the League was able to successfully breastfeed the child. Since that time she has studied LeLeche League is which information, authorized by a large medical advisory board, and has felt the need that other mothers have for this information. LeLeche by Flo Munson Cooler days sharpen appetites and everyone comes home hungry! What Mom needs is ideas for good tasting, filling main dishes that still dont strain the budget. Two recipes shared by Mrs. Dale (Lyhnette Parry) Thomas of Portage are unique and will satisfy both the family and the budget. She also includes a delightful dessert that is sure to become a family favorite. Lynnette is a graduate of Malad High school. She attended USU in Logan and graduated from the business technology program at Brigham in Provo. It was while she was attending BYU that she met Dale and they were later married. She was employed with the Utah State Health department and also with First Security bank in Salt Lake City prior to their going to Erlangen, Germany where they spent several years while Dale was serving with the U.S. Army. It was here their first child, Robert Dale, was born. He is now four years of age and they have a small son, Branden Jay, who is Young-Universit- years old. Always Enjoyed Cooking Lynnette has always enjoyed cooking, but admits Im not too fond of cleaning up the mess afterwards. I enjoy experimenting with new, exciting recipes and it just happens that my family most always like them. She laughs as she recalls during her college days when she had several roommates. Wed take turns at cooking, she told me. Ill never forget the first time I cooked oat meal for breakfast. I had not the slightest idea how much to cook so I carefully measured out six cups of oat mealwe couldnt possibly have EVER eaten it all! That was the dumbest trick I ever did! she added.
