Penwomen hold meeting in Tremonton The Box Elder Branch of the National League of American Penwomen met at the home of Alvaretta Rytting in Tremonton Thursday evening for their October meeting. Branch president Iris Schow conducted a short business meeting prior to the presentation of the lesson. Members were reminded that the Salt Lake branch are holding their annual guest tea for Penwomen on Nov. 3. There will be an art exhibit and judging. Evelyn Daines was named chairman for the Christmas party for the Box Elder branch of Penwomen which will be held in conjunction with the newly organized Box Elder Poetry society. It is tentively planned for the forepart of December and will include the members I ' f., i Mr. and Mrs. William 0. Baker, Paradise, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mary Beth, to Ralph Naylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Naylor, Providence. Miss Baker is a 1972 graduate of Box Elder High school and a four year LDS Seminary graduate. She is currently employed with Clearfield Cheese company. Marjorie Child gave an inand informative lesson How To Write A Column by Olin Hinkle and John Henry. She also read short articles and the members commented and gave their criticism on each article. Alvaretta Rytting, Mabel Anderson and Marjorie Child read short articles they had Prospective Autumn date circled for temple ceremony memories of their childhood. Johnson by the parents of the bride-to-bMr. and Mrs. Orion L. Nelson of Mantua. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Richard T. Johnson of Bountiful. The couple has set Nov. 9 as their wedding date with the ceremony to be performed in the Box Elder North stake center. A reception will follow the ceremony. Miss Nelson is a graduate of Box Elder High school and is currently employed with Travellers Insurance in Salt Lake City. Her fiance is a graduate of William Jennings Bryan High school in Omaha, Neb. and is employed as an electrician for the Union Pacific Railroad company in Salt Lake City. e, bridgegroom Naylor is a 1971 graduate of Skyview High school and LDS Seminary. He has attended Utah Technical college of Salt Lake City for one year, and is currently employed with Moore Business Forms. He plans to finish school in the near future. The betrothed couple plans a Nov. 16 wedding in the Ogden LDS temple. They will be honored at a reception that evening at the Providence Second LDS ward cultural hall from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to attend the reception. They will also be feted at a wedding dinner that day at the home of the bridegroom's parents. After a short honeymoon trip, the couple will reside in Logan.
