Young Corinne can be very proud of of its leading citizens, Jessie Eller, who is receiving a distinquished service award for her work as an extension home economist in the Uintah, Cache and Box Elder counties. She has been working in the family life program in Box Elder County for the past 10 years. Mrs. Eller has done more than her share in helping our community. She has not only helped the elderly and the shut-inbut also the youth All organizations such as our congratulations go to a well deserving citizen. Troop 113 put on a marvelous Halloween carnival. They played pin the eyes on the pumpkin, bobbed for apples, ringed bottles, threw darts at balloons, and sold candy, popcorn, and apple cider. Cindy Cheney, Angie Christianson, and Gregory Biddle received prizes for the best costumes. Special thanks go to Bob Cheney for doing the announcing. A large pat on the back goes to the den mothers; Bertha Radar, Renee Bailey, and Joetta Liljenquist for planning a grand party. one DUP Meets The Corinne chapter of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers met at Miriam Thompsons last week. There were 11 members and two visitors, Edna Hier (North Box Elder county in Gary Morrill and citizens, Sharon Bosley, perform, u. will total of 14 persons participated in the 1973 Cancer sponsored locally Saturday by the Box Elder chapter of the American Cancer society. Earlier they had house guests from Lodgebrass, Mont., Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Westbrook. The couple accompanied the Normans to their Northern Indian mission reunion that was held in Salt Lake. Both couples spent a two year mission in the Dakotas. They also were reunited with the two mission presidents they had served under, Grant Farmer from Boise, Idaho and Harvey Duphl from Wells, Nev. Then two weeks ago the Normans took a two-davacation to Sheep Creek, the mountains south of Hardware ranch in Blacksmith Fork canyon. They stayed in their trailer house, fishing and just Accompaning enjoying life. them was Mr. Normans brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Olsen from y Paradise. Just last week the Normans son, Carl, and his wife, Nelda, and their family moved to Richfield, Idaho to make a new home. They have eight children, but their two elder sons are staying with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Norman, until they finish school. Entertain Visitors. The Rebekah lodge is tentatively planning its meeting at Gertrude Moores Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. It will be a fun loving Halloween party. The members of the Corinne ward will have a very special sacrament meeting this Sunday. Members of the Garden Home Training center will put Two Corinne on a program.
