Brigham City's 120 pound team met a strong Layton team at 8 p.m. and the 70 A's took on Bountiful at 6:45 p.m. Results of both of those games were too late for this publication. BRIGHAM CITY'S 120 LB. REMAINS UNDEFEATED AN UNSCORED AGAINST IN EXCEPTIONAL SEASON OF PLAY Coach Earl Grays 120 lb. football team gained a berth in the mini-boplayoffs as they soundly defeated a rough North Ogden team by a score of 24-Brigham City scored on the first play of the game as halfback Bryon Oakeson blasted off left tackle and sprinted 58 yards to the touchdown. Brett Wallace, Chris Williams, and Butch Arbon were outstanding on defensive as they had 9,8, and 7 tackles respectively. Defensive linemen Kevin Keller, Mark Boyd, Danny Russell, David Smith, David Johnson and Steve Rock have been outstanding in holding their opponents for no gain and repeeatedly throwing them for large losses. Linebackers Bushnell, Allred, and Davis and safeties Powers, Begay and Ken Kller have also made numerous effective tackles and intercepted and knocked down many passes. .
