The two ladies are cousins. Mrs. Ellen Capener returned home Saturday evening after spending several days with her Miss daughter Margaret Capener who is attending Ricks college in Rexburg. Mrs. Ira Ward entertained at a dinner party at her home Sunday in compliment to her husband who was celebrating his birthday anniversary. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ward and family of Kaysville, Miss Marilyn Ward of Ogden and Michael Ward of Logan. Spending Saturday visiting Mr. and Mrs. William Silvester were Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Hess of Malad. Attending the state fair and Ice Follies in Salt Lake City Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. G.L. Bourne. John P. Brown, a sixth at Perry grader Elementary school, won the awards with his purebred Flemish Giants. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Brown. Johns show rabbits won Best of Breed, one first place, two seconds and one third. He has been raising the rabbits for one and a half years after his uncle, Jared Brown of Bountiful, got him interested in the hobby. Last year he won a second place ribbon after entering one rabbit.
